I usually write a review when I feel that more people should know about the story that a I have read. I have had this feeling when I finished to read Diamond Dust.
Sincerely I don’t want to write a summary of this story. You can just read to synopsis that has on MAL. I want to write reasons to you read this manhwa.
Don’t expect a happy ending in Diamond Dust, it’s a utopia. The author explores one of the most sad theme to me, diseases. In Diamond Dust we have a child who had her childhood stolen by her parents to become
...
a famous pianist and, in the other side, a guy who wants to live his dreams but he can’t. (I won’t give spoils here, it’s just what I can say)
The pallid colors that the author uses match perfectly with the environment of the story which almost all the time happens at a hospital. It’s a beautiful and deep story to you reflect about how you living your life, if you are living as you want or you are just doing what people expects from you. Diamond Dust all the time is a contrast about want to live and want to die.
All the time I was reading, I imagined the song that they talk about in the story. I have read all the story on the Sunday morning and I cried in the end. I wish this story get a movie adaptation. I would cry a lot ...

I believe that there are so many great works that I haven’t read yet. Fortunately, by chance, I had found out Usemo no Yado and I could read this amazing manga.
Usemo no Yado is a story about a inn where people can find lost things. The inn is managed by a mysterious Landlady who is a kind frigid with the guests but, in the end, always helps them. Moreover, what the guests tries to find is not just a lost “thing” but they try to find the deepest desire of their hearts.
Various characters visits the inn during the course of the manga, each
...
one with their desire and their personal story. Mostly are sad stories with a deep emotional content.
The art of Usemo no Yodo is really enchanting and beautiful which makes the reading even more enjoyable.
To me, this manga is a fabulous work of art and it deserves that more people can read it. In the final chapters I really shivered reading, this manga touched my core deeply. <3

Akatsuki no Yona is the reason why I like so much everything about anime and manga.
So, let’s start talk about Akayona.
When I found the anime adaptation was love at first sight, then I had started to read the manga immediately. At the same time, I was watching the anime. Akayona isn’t a classical shoujo manga which the princess live a beautiful and romantic life to have a happy ending. This is shoujo manga about war, betrayal and power struggle but also it’s about love, overcoming and friendship.
Story: 10/10
Akayona is complex story and I love stories full of details.
I think that is
...
very difficult for an author to be able to keep the level of the story from the beginning until the end (Akayona hasn’t end yet), but Mizuho Kusanagi can do it with mastery.
Another point to considerate about Akatsuki no Yona that I think very important is the way the author managed to unite so many classic elements of Japanese culture like dragons, warriors, kingdoms related with natural elements.
All of this makes reader to immerse is this world.
Art: 10/10
As I said, this story is rich, full of details. The design is very very beautiful and there is even maps in the manga to you understand better the story.
Character: 10/10
I read some complaints about Akayona. Some people have said that Yona doesn’t develop in this story, she is almost a whiner who needs someone's help. At the beginning of the story it's true, but everywhere else you can see how she becomes strong and confident.
Yona demonstrates great value by being humble enough to recognize that she didn't know the reality of her kingdom, and, even with all her weakness, she does not give up on to make it a better place to the people live. Only after that, she intend claim the throne back.
As for the other characters, each one has his personal stories, one more beautiful than another, by the way. And as for the antagonist of the story you fall in love with him at the same time that you want to kill him.
Another very important point in any manga that Mizuho Kusanagi succeeds in mastering again is the fact that all characters are important, there are not too many characters and not less, each has its own role within the plot.
Enjoyment/Overall: 10/10
In order not to prolong, I can say that it is really a story worth reading.
In addition, among the shoujo manga listed in MAL, it is the one with the highest note (8.88), and this story really deserves this position.

Amazing! That's a good word to sum up Banana Fish. At first glance, I was a little afraid to watch the anime, mainly because I have read many comments saying that it was a completely "gay" anime. However, after watching the first 3 episodes, I’ve realized that this is an unfair comment and is by the way very prejudiced.
If you are a person who in hypothesis none admits the "homosexual" topic in an anime, Banana Fish is not for you. However, let's be clear: this is not the focus of the anime, much less the main theme.
I was struck by the primacy that such heavy
...
and profound themes are treated. At some point, I did not know if I should cry together with Ash, or should be angry with the situation. This anime really messed with my feelings and with my psychological. In fact, it is a rather heavy anime psychological.
One of the strengths for me is the soundtrack. The opening song is amazing; this music is very good, of those that stay all day in the mind. I really loved it! The art goes back to the 80's, when the manga was written. At first the design may seem strange but considered the time, it fit very well in context. In addition, depicting the city of NY in small details such as graffiti on walls, buildings, stairs, alleys and bars in basements, makes you feel very much inside the atmosphere of the city in the 80's.
Another good point is how the anime really demonstrates the humanity of the characters. They are not mere anime characters. For me, few animes had this ability to express what the characters are feeling, causing in us empathy, getting very close to reality, manly in moments of suffering. I suffered a lot along with the characters!
It's worth watching. I'm already sad because it’s close to the end.
I piece of advice: don’t be led by negative comments! Just like I did, just watch the anime and draw your own conclusions!

This is my first review. I have never written one before, but now I'm feeling that I need to do it because this story is amazing.
It's a shoujo and, obviously, it has some cliché events but anyway this story is different from the majority of shoujo stories. I just loved it and read in a day.
To me, Bambi to Dhole is better than many other famous manga, and it deserved a better note. Because of this, I decided to write this review. I really enjoyed the characters development, the way that they get maturity and become able to deal with their problems.
The story is not
...
long and much less not tiring, it's possible to enjoy reading from beginning to end.
What I liked the most about this story was, in fact, the subject. To this day, I haver ever not read any shoujo with a theme at least similar to this. I really had the feeling of reading something new. It's worth reading.
