Have you ever watched something (anime, movie, music video, ect.) and when it ends you immediately want to watch it again?
For me that is this anime.
Now time for the review.
This is my first BL anime, and I wasn't even sure that I would like it but it has high reviews and was recommended off another anime I watched, it only took 2 episodes for me to get hooked.
As the story played out I got hooked on each character, wanting to see what would happen next and growing as they grew. I must say, the main character made me have my ups and downs,
...
between rooting for him and pushing him down, but as the story continued on I watched him grow and I loved his character even more. I have no words to describe this anime. By Far the best romance I have seen.
Needless to say I am watching more BL anime, but... well I am going to watch this one again ;)
Story: Original, entertaining, stays on topic.
Art: Shounen Ai ... do I need to say more???
Sound: When it was time for tears or laughs the sound hit it perfectly, never missing a beat and always filling you completely of that emotion, never left wanting more or feeling like something was missing
Character: You see it from many of the characters views and each character grew, but the main character grew the most, making me feel overjoyed when the final scene played out.
Enjoyment: L-O-V-E-D it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overall: Watch it now, seriously .... NOW

I love this anime, I really do. They came out with a second season so I re-watched the first season and I still love it.
Story:
A girl loses her home and is given (not 100% willingly) a new home. Now some of you are going to say "how was it unwilling?" well that's because the house has an ownership, like a car except this one is given and cannot be returned easily, especially when the previous owner disappears. Anyways it is a comedy, action, and a love story. I am female so that is my perfect combination.
Art:
Soft colours and many subtle things that give
...
the anime that "ooh" factor. From little blue butterflies to a cloudless night full of stars. Pretty straightforward but it still makes me smile at the sense of calmness the anime portrays.
Sound:
I love the theme song. Not much in the way of sound throughout the anime but I also feel it was well thought out. There was a narrator in the beginning which I think they did better then if it was a memory because it only explained the pertinent details and not all the other crap that goes along with flashbacks. Wait does this statement belong with sound?
Characters:
Throughout the whole anime the main characters are growing and becoming stronger both in body and mind it is fascinating to see and relish in when they finally understand something and are able to make the proper amendments to their own mistakes and become perfection.
I love all the characters even the ones I probably shouldn't have liked ;)
Enjoyment:
I LOVE LOVE L-O-V-E this anime, one of my favorites. Honestly it is pure joy.
WATCH IT!!!

Hey guys, I don't normally write reviews but I am trying to write more. So here it goes:
I have been debating watching this anime for about a year now. Everyone says it's great, when I am looking at which anime to watch next this one pops up multiple times but I was questioning whether or not it would be worth my time. Most people have listed it as a romance anime so here I figured, "okay a girl gets to choose between 6 guys. We've all seen it before and quite honestly I prefer anime where it is a constant relationship with common ups and
...
downs apposed to getting a choice. Personal preference." But this was quite the opposite and I was disappointed to see that there was no romance, though you could see some starting to bloom, nothing happened in that field.
What i did find though.
Story:
It has a great story line that is easy to follow and when there is a problem with another secondary character you see their past so that even if the main character doesn't know it yet you do so you can sympathize with both parties.
Art:
The art was great, there was so many bright colours, which at times could be hard on the eyes but most of the time it made me smile and laugh and cry along with the characters. You know when it's raining outside and it makes you feel gloomy? This anime also portrayed that perfectly .
Sound:
OMG the sound, I loved almost all of the songs, in the subbed version many known songs (twinkle twinkle little star) was sung in english so we could enjoy it too and sing along. I think there was 2 or 3 songs like that, played multiple times in memories ect. for our enjoyment. Though many songs were sung in Japanese with english subtitles so we too could enjoy the meaning behind the songs. I would re-watch certain episodes of this anime just to rehear the songs, my favorites are the intro and ending songs (hence why they were picked). Also because it is an "arts academy" when people were about ready to burst with feelings, sad or happy and even mad, they sang which I can't really relate to but hearing them sing I wanted to join in, just because.
Characters:
The main character has so much improvement throughout the anime and honestly I love that, when you are introduced to the character in the beginning of their new environment and you are able to grow with them. The only downside was #1-like I said before no romance (or hardly any) and #2-the secondary characters didn't improve much with personality though their hardships were resolved.
Character I liked the least was the director, he popped up at random time with no real reason to show up other than to make peoples lives difficult and I found that he was too much to handle, he entered and exited with a bang leaving your head reeling.
Enjoyment:
Overall I liked the anime and am looking forward for season 2.
I honestly think you should give this anime a shot.

I have put 8`s all over the board for this one, the reason being is that I just can`t make up my mind.
The story is a good one, a young girl and her even younger brother miles away from home and their parents when disaster strikes....
It may sound weird but I like disaster shows/movies but I guess I am also able to set myself apart from the characters and in this anime I wasn't able too. You see I am the oldest of four siblings so this hit a little too close to home. I bawled multiple times and by the 9th episode I
...
knew how it ended yet I had to complete it.
This story speaks of destruction and beauty, unkindness and forgiveness, selfishness and selflessness, and overall it shows how when disaster strikes you need to be on watch for you and everyone around you. That last part doesn't make sense but at the end of the anime you will understand.
I finished this anime a little over 3 days ago and I still think about it as I try and sleep, it wasn't overly exciting (with gore, violence or romance) but it kept me hooked until the very end (even after I knew what would happen) and even now without re-watching it (I don't know if I could after that last cry fest) I find myself calculating when things happened and little hints throughout different scenes that pointed to the ending.
This is a sad anime as I already said but it is worth watching. The story line is good I really like the artwork and how the duller colours made the background stand out more so you noticed the destruction and devastation of the city.

How do I put this ....
I watched this anime after watching Special A because it was a recommendation, I came into the anime thinking that it would be simular to special A and I would fall in love with it as much as I had the previous one. Boy was I wrong. The characters in this one are awkward and stupid. I know that just using the word 'stupid' seems weird but they don't "do" anything. They make a club then go around and the same people get into the same fights and don't learn anything from their mistakes. It was just irritating, for a
...
while I thought "YES finally the romance is coming!" that just left you with the character walking away because of some "funny" or rediculous moment that completely ruins the mood.
Sigh, for what I was looking for this was definatley not my kind of anime, although if you are in need of a good laugh and no "heavy" scenes you will enjoy this one :)

I actually really didn't like this anime despite the good reviews it has. A friend recommended this one to me and it sounded just up my alley ... but it wasn't.
***SPOILERS***
See the problem is the characters, well not all of them only a select few.
The guy that comes in on episode 5 or something being Raisa's long lost childhood friend and then he disappears and only shows up when things are starting to get good. Like really? we just suffered through 3 GOOD-AWFUL-BORING episodes and now you show up?? *sigh*
So obviously I didn't finish the series but if there's no point in him then bye-bye.
...
Thank you. The other person is Raisa the main character. You start off the anime and she is freaking hilarious, she is bossy and obnoxious and is a total hoot, I mean if she were my friend I would always be laughing, and then she goes and gets a crush and becomes sappy and depressed and it totally changes her personality from one of spunk to well. "BOO GET OFF THE STAGE" ....
Okay so the last character that is a real shit is the "best friend" going through the episodes she is constantly harrassing Raisa and messes everything up like all the time. I understand in an anime you need someone there to help push it along but there has to be a limit. When she is constantly holding her hand and telling her what to do, myself as a viewer, start to wonder if she actually still has a crush on him or if this is now just some big game that will end soon with her going. "Oh well that didn't work, onto the next person."
I would have liked the anime, I should have liked it really but, I can only handle so much stupidity, when Raisa keeps kicking a dead horse (metaphorically speaking) it gets real old real fast because no matter how hard she kicks it feels like it is going nowhere.

WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!?
One second the anime is great and then all of a sudden it goes to hell in a handbag, and why? Well that's the big question now isn't. My heart broke when the characters started being stupid, my teacher always had two sayings:
"Don't kick a dead cow"
"shit or get off the pot"
both of these sayings mean the same thing. It means that you can't waste your time doing something that won't get you anywhere or hoping that something will happen when obviously it won't.
***MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS***
I liked the two of them together I really did and I love the drama but there is
...
a point when you need to try something new because obviously this method isn't working.
I feel like the characters went from intresting to boring in a snap and the characters that I thought would grow some balls didn't eventually it got to the point where I couldn't even finish the series (with 2 episodes left no doubt) because the characters had lost all their spunk. Suddenly what was once a romance (including one sexy scene) became nothing more then a pre-teen drama with over-done lines and romance-less characters.
I am sorry Bokura Ga Ita but you should have stopped at episode 13...
Now the reason for the high review (being a 7) is because the begining (first 13 episodes) I will so totally watch again. But basically after that ... yea good luck.

To be perfectly honest I didn't complete episode 25. I wanted to but I only got through the first 4 minutes before I decided that I liked the current ending.
Now most of you are probably like WTF you had one episode left!! But when you watch the anime it actually acts like it should have only been made to 24 episodes and the last one is like an extended bonus.
The anime was good, though I didn't particularily like the romance, or Kotomo either for that matter. But what I did like was the story behind it. Great way to pass the day overall.
Oh the only
...
other thing is that once you get past a certain point (sorry don't remember the episode #) the anime seems to pass time fairly quickly. "1 month later" here and "4 years later" there and before you know it it's 9 years later. No joke, at one point I was thinking we were just a couple of months ahead and then I found out 4 years had passed ... :(
