Where do I even begin. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, the #1 anime to top MAL's anime list of best anime of all time. Now if you're like me, than you too watched this after the '03 anime adaptation and that one was; interesting. Great story none the less but this isn't about that.
Now, FMAB is the ONLY anime that I've rewatched 3x (as of the writing of this, I'm currently rewatching for a 4th time) and that is for a reason.
THIS ANIME IS GROUNDBREAKING.
Right out of a golden age of anime in the late 2000s and it shows with all it's badges and glory.
...
Now let's get started.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the story of two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric whom are both ingenious alchemist of their own right. These two are on a journey to obtain their original bodies back after an alchemic experiment gone wrong. Ed loses his leg and right arm while Al loses his entire body. Ed does bond his brother's soul to a set of armor which Al can control at will. But along their journey the encounter many foes and allies to help them achieve their goal, but the young siblings don't yet understand what the journey means for the people the meet.
This story of two brothers is incredible and their development, along with the supporting group of charming and endearing allies of theirs, is phenomenal. I wish i could watch-NO... experience this story again for the first time. It's just so heartbreaking and inspiring and exhilarating and a whole bunch of adjectives for something amazing. Now I don't want to rehash what's already been said for the story so if this would be your first time experiencing FMAB, than be prepared for a great story full of quirky characters and a who-dun-it plot of sorts.
The art style. This story has a very steampunk aesthetic and a distinguished European influence. The character design and settings of the show are great and are pleasant for the eye to look at. I'm not one for judging art but FMAB has a great appeal to it and shouldn't be overlooked.
Don't get me started on the sound, I can have a full essay on why the ost/openings/endings/environmental sounds of the show are A1 and amazing. The voice acting for both the dubbed and subbed are beautiful and fit perfectly. I won't say anymore on the sound because i would just be rambling. Amazing sound and music overall
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST
I've said all i could considering character and enjoyment. Everyone is great and i enjoy this so much I've rewatched it 3x without getting bored (currently as of writing this it's my 4th time rewatching)
Studio bones has done a wonderful job animating this show and it will continue to be one of the greats, especially in the west.

"Your Lie in April" is an anime drama about a classic pianist, Kousei Arima, who has lost his ability to hear the notes of the piano and thus does not care to play anymore. That is until he meets a young violinist by the name Kaori Miyazono who is talented, quirky, and beautiful.
To not give too much of the plot away, I'll just say that YLIA is ride to be ridden. It has it's fair share of comedy, like all anime, and doesn't feel forced on the audience. The characters feel real with their emotions and interactions with one another. Arima and his friends
...
give off an energy like no other with their support and love for each of them. Kaori has this innocence about that just screams "PROTECT ME! I AM SOFT AND LOVELY" (at least for me)
YLIA's soundtrack is, incredible. From the into ops, to the somber piano between the interactions of the main characters, and especially for the music choices for the competitions. Being a musician myself, I can't help but feel and understand the musicians in the story. They are relatable and I their way of perceiving music as colors and memories in unmatched.
With all the positivity and support between the characters, unfortunately there just has to be a melancholic pull to it and that's what separates YLIA from the pack. The broken relationships with parents, the gut punching feeling of losing love, the reaction of everyone involved and bringing everything full circle in the end; that's how YLIA feels real, because these are real world problems and we can't help but put ourselves in their shoes. Having to hold your tongue and speak up on love because you'll hurt yourself or others around you, that is something tangible. That is what gives everything substance and depth. Truly a great anime and story to be told.
If you want to feel some emotions, this is the anime for you. With a story only 22 episodes long, it's all wrapped up nicely for you to enjoy and cry to.

Demon Slayer is incredible. A great sibling duo, the story feel genuine and real. The art is great. I'm reading the manga to catch up and there it's wonderful to see, actual eye candy.
The OP is like no other, giving this anime an incredible feel and fuels you up for the fights, and the fights are done spectacularly in both animation and sound design of the movements and effects. Excellent!
I can't wait for more chapters to be adapted and the see what they're gonna do for season 2. This season is a great debut for the series and its definitely going to be a

shounen engraved in time for this generation.

This... This adaptation of Devilman is just, hard to explain. The art style is just magnificent. It's stunning and new and takes a lot of chances with it acting goofy (the running... god the running) and the character designs are on par with the aesthetic they're going for.
The music and sound design are like no other with a house party/EDM OP that just SLAPS! The side tracks are amazing as well like the ED track "Judgment" being one of my personal favorite anime songs ever. These songs have been produced marvelously and the sound design of the environment in the anime is superb.
The main
...
characters and side characters have very good development for the anime only being 10 episodes. We get to see enough of all of them that nothing feels left out.
Overall, Devilman Crybaby is a great change of pace and a breathe of fresh demon air. It isn't at all what i had expected going into it, but I'm glad I did.

This is series, along with the 1st season, are great and go super well together. The OP for season 2 is sensational and produced amazingly. It gives a great mood for the season as a whole and just absolutely rocks! The development of Nagisa and his classmates is turned up and Koro-sensei has a lot more humanity brought to him as we learn more about his past. The ending is... it leaves me speechless every time. It's an ending that you see coming but when it gets there, you don't want it to happen even if it's suppose to happen. I didn't expect
...
to get as emotional as i did, and i didn't give the ending the screening it deserved. I watched it all on my phone when it should've been on my laptop or casted to my TV for the full effect that.
That being said, the art style is one of my favorite art styles in modern anime. Its crisp, clean, and beautiful to look at. Pair the art with the sound design and you have a nice anime to watch.
I recommend this to everyone that I know hasn't seen it. Great anime to watch for story, music, and well designed characters.
