Stiff, reserved, cold character meets and shares the same passion as expressive, outgoing character. Though they are opposite, they end up developing a very close, brotherly bond. Characters are all complex in their own right. Similar (kind of, not really) romantic complications.

Same kind of humor. Same concept of supernatural/freakishly strong people banding together and forming an organization to save/protect the world + clueless MC who's just joined the organization and appears weak but has some sort of power.

If you liked Kingdom add

...then you might like Nobunaga Concerto add

Both series take place in Ancient Asia (Kingdom in China; Nobunaga in Japan) and depicts the journey of one man looking to conquer and unite the whole of China/Japan respectively. However, Kingdom pays more attention to actual battles and strategies as it's main character is a boy looking to become a legendary general, not the King himself. Nobunaga does not have enough episodes to afford doing that. Both are great historical animes.
