Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica

This recommendation is mostly because of the directing and art of each show - Madoka is, at times, a toned down version of Monogatari in that sense, and the trippy art direction is something I consider to be a huge plus. Not to mention many of the voice actors that were in Bakemonogatari also appear in Madoka Magica and do a great job (e.g. Homura and Senjougahara are voiced by the same person). Granted, there are large differences in the plot and themes of each show, but I think that there are enough similarites there so if you liked one, there's a better than average chance you'll like the other.

Both are fairly confusing/weird and/or harder to follow on a first watch, and both are fairly dark. The soundtrack of the two movies sound similar, and both sound awesome. You do have to see the first four Kara no Kyoukai movies, however its dark tales should be fairly interesting to many madoka magica fans.

Fate/Zero 2nd Season

If you liked Fate/Zero, you'd probably also like Kara no Kyoukai. First off, the animation in both series was done by ufotable, and if you haven't noticed by know, their animation is rediculously good. Furthermore, both series have fairly dark atmospheres, which is aided by the music from Yuki Kajiura. Both are definitely worth watching.

Both feature dark plots. Additionally, Urobuchi was the main writer in both, and Kajiura was the main composer for the OSTs for both shows (although I preferred the OST in MSMM).

Both feature somewhat mind-game-ish battles in which one person tries to outsmart somebody else, and have some mild twists that you might enjoy. Additionally, the main characters have to lead a sort of double life and must hide their actions from authorities.

Although I personally wasn't a huge fan of Mirai Nikki, if you were into the battle royale that was Fate/Zero, you might enjoy Mirai Nikki's sometimes dark plot, with some interesting plot twists along the way.

They have similar styles of writing, both being written by Gen Urobuchi. If you enjoyed Madoka Magica's dark mood, interesting themes, and good pacing, then you will likely enjoy Fate/Zero (mostly the 2nd season).
