This is both my favorite YOASOBI song and favorite music video I have ever seen (outside of maybe Shelter). The song itself is great, with a really infectious chorus and a section that strips down the melody to focus much more on the vocal performance (which is my favorite part of the song).
Focusing more on the music video, it has an incredibly unique visual style, mixing 3D puppeteering with small amounts of live action that blend together well and don't clash in the slightest. The characters shown have a really strange design, combining features of animals with more human proportions (not in the furry ... way).
Really just overall a great song, a great MV, and a great time.

Note before the review: It says there are only 26 chapters, but on Line Webtoon (where I read it), there are 127. I have read all 127.

Story: 9
The premise of this story is that our main character, Yeseul, finds herself as a contestant in a TV show about makeup called Face Off Cinderella. I, personally, love gameshows, and so this premise instantly hooked me. However, the more important story in this manwha is told through the interactions of the characters, many of whom are fellow contestants. The ... plot related to the show is great, and I wouldn't change it at all. However, I felt that the plot outside of it was slightly worse, and so I docked off a point for that. Overall, I still really liked the story.

Art: 8
The art is a 10 when it wants to be. However, this tends to be saved for the more impactful scenes, and as such, the average quality of art is closer to an 8, which is by no means bad.

Character: 10
THIS is where The Makeup Remover excels. Each character has their moments to shine, and in a cast as large as the one in this story, that is quite a feat in my eyes. I was emotionally attached to most of the characters in the story. The author made it easy for me to like the characters I was supposed to like, and hate the characters I was supposed to hate without making anyone an over-the-top hero or villain. Everyone has their moments of selfishness, but also their moments where they understand. There is incredible character development in this story, and it helps make the important scenes all the more enticing.

Enjoyment: 10
I finished this within three days. I read about 60 of the 127 chapters in two, and the rest today. I could not put it down. This is one of the most enjoyable manwhas I have ever read.

Overall: 10
This story is deeply engaging, interesting, and can be both beautiful and disturbing when it wants to be. I nearly cried in a couple scenes solely due to how well they were done, something that has only ever happened to me once before (in the anime Sonny Boy). I highly recommend that anyone read this.

THIS MANGA IS SO COOL! One of the most interesting and complicated plots I've ever seen, and the author is actually able to make it seem fully fleshed out by the end of it. The author really just throws you into this mysterious world that gets explained over time through the landscapes and natural character interactions, there is no infodump about the world's mechanisms at the beginning. The ending is great, and if it weren't for the art, this would easily be a 10/10 for me.

Art: 5/10
The art kinda... sucks. Personally, I didn't care, as the manga was interesting enough for me to look ... past it easily. But yeah, it objectively is not good compared to most other manga. It's not as though it's chicken-scratch and outright ugly, closer to looking like basic sketches rather than a final product.

Characters: 10/10
All of the characters in this story weave together in such a fascinating way. And for the most part, each shine on their own as well. While my personal favorite character is Kelvin (<3 Robot grandpa), nearly every character has a strong argument to be someone's favorite.

Enjoyment: 10/10
If you couldn't already tell, this is one of my favorite manga. It makes me giddy whenever I think about the plot, or the characters, or how everything is fleshed out over the course of the adventure that Ruska and his group go on.

Overall: 9/10

I watched this with a couple of friends at midnight. Truly a transcendental experience for all of us. In case you were wondering, the best episodes are the robbery one and the magical girl one. I hope all of these molcars have a fun life.

I will soon be a college student, and I will try my best to convince the top schools in the country to create a molcar history program. I shall be known and renowned as the molcar recordkeeper. I will reign supreme.

The stop motion animation is quite good for the molcars and the world surrounding it, however it ... is a bit jarring to see the stop motion on the real people. Also, why is the ambulance molcar so much more popular than anything else related to the show? Who are the 43 of you who favorited her? Why?

Deep Sea Aquarium Magmell has an interesting premise that has not had enough time to come to fruition yet. This is a fairly new manga at the time of this review, so I mainly want to talk about the reasons why I am looking forward to reading the rest of this manga as it comes out.

Art- 10
First thing's first, the art is stunning. The illustrator makes the scenes in Magmell look incredible. This is probably my favorite aspect of the manga, as the scenes underwater are gorgeous and make me want more.

Story- 8
The story has potential. It seems as though it will be a good ... character-focused coming-of-age/achieving your dreams type of story. I'm keeping the score to an 8 solely because not enough has happened yet for me to give a complete opinion, but I like what I've seen.

Character- 7
This is a 7 for much of the same reasons as why the story is an 8, not enough development has happened yet. However, this is slightly lower than the story score because I feel like I have less of a grasp on what each character is like than I do on the story.

Enjoyment- 9
Yeah, if you couldn't tell, I like this so far. It's charming, pretty, and I can tell that depending on how well the rest is written, this could become something special.

Overall- 8/10

So, I've never written a review before, but considering how few people have read this manga I feel as though I should try to help convince people to read it.

This is a fairly short manga, though I feel that it accomplishes everything it needs to. The characters have realistic personalities, and they're easy to sympathize with. I even liked the side characters I thought that I would find annoying.

The big selling point of this art manga is, well, the art. The sumi-e paintings that we are shown are all beautiful, and portray character growth just as much as the dialogue does.

Overall, I'd highly ... recommend this to anyone, especially if you also like manga similar to Blue Period.
