Because of the theme, of course it's not a hard read. The story revolves around Fujisawa Haruka and Fujisawa Saya with their everyday life after their mother had died. In that everyday life of theirs, we'll gradually get a glimpse of what kind of person their mother was when she's alive.

Art: 7
Art is good, but not great. Sometimes we'll see the author simple-ize the character's face with just dots for eyes and mouth. But that's okay because the author knows when to use them and when to use their best skill. But on josei and shoujo's land of art, this one barely stands on ... the others.

The thing that makes me re-new my view about this manga is the characters. It may looked like they're just doing their everyday live normally, but in truth, just like we are in real life, they have their own problems. And, no, they're not some cliche problems like, "I'm from a cursed clan and nobody loves me blahblahblah". The author shows his point of view about everyday human lives VERY nicely through the character's action and dialogue. Especially, I loved Haruka's character. A nice and caring onii-chan is always nice. He seems to be a strong and reliable 5th grader, playing around and sometimes fighting with his sister about small things. But in truth, throughout the series, we'll get to see that he holds a child's very deep feelings about their mother's death.

Enjoyment: 9
Well, so far I just can't not love 'slice of life' series that I watch/read. But this one stands out with its jokes and heart-warming moments. Some are just innocent and cute, some are sad. There's even adult jokes slipped all over. Well, knowing the author actually made some shoujo-ai and yaoi, that isn't so surprising. Aside from that, I really loved the pessimistically optimistic philosophy about human lives that were depicted in this series.

Overall: 9
No more a "great to read if you have some time", it's now a "must read if you can get a hold of it" for me.

This is my first review, and since I don't see anyone reviewing this yet then I might as well give it a shot. :P

I'm actually really looking forward for this volume since they said the timeline is after Rokka and Hazuki got married. And did you think you'll see a lovey-dovey RokkaXHazuki here? lol nope. AGAIN, they're going to feed you with Shimao's past. I know the series is basically revolving around him, but come on! After that happy family-end scene we can't even grasp 1/128 part how Rokka and Hazuki led their married life, except for those 4 last pages, where all of ... those are line-less.

Well, I kinda like the author's style.

They're still the same 'ol guys. Heck, Rokka even got a drawback again here.

Enjoyment: 5
Like I said, what I want is more RokkaXHazuki and they really should have enough portion.

It's an OK filler to fill the empty room about this series in my heart.
