K-On is essentially cute girls doing cute things but with the aspect of music it ties in nicely. A nice way to showcase great music with a little backstory to that. Each character has a truly different personality which makes up a great group of friends. Very relaxing and chill anime for anyone who just wants to see cute things.
Story-7
I'm not gonna lie, the story wasn't really up there from all the other slice of life anime. However, judging slice of life and moe from the story isn't really good because story isn't really focused at all.
Art-9
Great art style that helps us understand how to
...
characters feel and even lets us laugh.
Sound-10
Cute moe girls playing awesome songs? Priceless. The songs are catchy and well put together. The other sounds are normal.
Character-8
Characterization is important. It lets us know about the characters a little more to understand them. Each episode, it seems like one girl is in the spotlight. Or they are all equally shown. There's never a time where I'm saying "Where is this character"
Enjoyment-9
I enjoyed it a lot. I just wished the "problems" were a little bit more serious. Not the entire plot. But the problems or conflict in this anime seemed solved easily or the conflicts were solved because of a characters emotion. Pretty much the easy way out.
Overall-10
If you like Slice of Life and Moe, go for it. Just don't expect for it to be all "serious"
I enjoyed it primary because of the characters, they fit right in and they were made for each other, along with the songs. Very catchy and enjoyable.
