Both are great shoujo animes that give a wholesome vibe throughout the show. The main characters are independent and can stand against their own ground. They both wear a similar style of clothes back in a fantasy medieval-like setting. The female protagonists work with herbs where Shirayuki makes medicine while Sei makes potion. They take place in a kingdom that involves a prince and knights. I like how both animes have a group where the main character can open up to and trust. If you like romance in one, you will definitely like romance in the other. Both of the male characters in the ship are to die for!

Hirunaka no Ryuusei
add

Both Ao Haru Ride and Hirunaka no Ryuusei have a very similar plot in which the main character is involved in a love triangle. At first, there is mutual feelings between the main girl and the current main guy she is with, but due to circumstances, the main guy had to leave her which leaves the main girl heartbroken and in confusion. Along the way, she would encounter new relationships whether its friendship, rivalry, or love. After spending time together with the second main guy, he would confess to the main girl leaving her with feelings of uncertainty. Throughout the series, it would leave the readers unable to decide who to root for to be with the main girl due to both of the guys having their own good points.

Both mangas have a young, red-haired heroine who goes on a journey facing many obstacles along the way. Both main characters start off as someone who doesn't have the strength and confidence to do things on her own, but as she meets more people joining the group, her growth gradually develops with a lot of potentials based on what they go up against. This takes place in a historical time period and the relationships she makes with one another are strongly bonded by love, friendship, and even hatred.

Fairy Tail

Both Fairy Tail and One Piece are shounen animes and have a lot of similarities. The art quality may resemble one another(both authors have the art based off from dragon ball's author) and the way they draw the characters in both are really similar. As for as I've seen, people like Gildarts and Shanks, Rufus and Cavendish, and there's more out there where they look alike. The one major thing I think they have in common are that both are about a group of people who go through adventures fighting together and have a strong bond with one another. Also, theres a lot of emotional scenes based on what they go through as nakamas which can really get you all teary or even to the point you'll bawl. Based from my point of view, the things they do are completely different such as different goals for each character, but the storyline for both really resemble each other to the point some of the arcs are related. On top of that, really enjoy each and every one of the openings and endings they show for each new arcs that are airing. I think whether you like Fairy Tail or One Piece, you'll like the other since they have so much things in common. Definitely rate both of them 10/10!

Hiyokoi

Both Hiyokoi and Kimi ni Todoke involve a shy main character girl who doesn't fit in with the class until she meets the popular main boy who helps her experience many things, eventually falling in love with him. In Hiyokoi, Hiyori doesn't fit in well due to her short height, whereas in Kimi ni Todoke, Sawako doesn't fit in for her ghost-like aura and appearance (which have caused people nickname her as Sadako). In the end, things work out where the main guy helps the main girl.

Both anime show a comedy romance where the main girls are one of the top students, but are never able to surpass the main guys whether its by grades, activities, etc. Both of the main guys are good-looking, perfect at everything, and top students who protect and care for the main girls without having them notice what he does for her.

Cardcaptor Sakura

These two animes, both based on works by CLAMP, are very different story-wise, but they have similar main characters (like Sakura and Syaoran) and supporting characters (like Tomoyo, Toya, and Yukito). Another thing they have in common is that both series involve collecting things to achieve their goals where CCS collect cards when TC collect feathers.
