The story was nothing too complicated and not so much annoying drama, which is great. It's not a slice of life but more to romance and friendship, and I like it especially the bond between the boys. The art is simple and okay. But, I love the soundtrack the most, well I don't expect less from Sonar Pocket, I like their song as always :)
Characters are great, they've got simple personalities with not too much complicated going on within themselves. I like how they are honest with others and themselves. Just for that one character, if this anime/manga doesn't have that annoying-disturbing girl (why author
...
loves to put this kind of personality?), I would give 8/9 for character wise.
I like this anime a lot, because it's easy to watch, and relaxing to get a rest from many intense-themed anime. I recommend this anime because this anime is simple and comforting. Though the ending could be better, but I hope that's just because they'll give another season? If not, then.. go read the manga, even though it's not ending yet.

Story:
This is has shounen-ai genre, and a short anime (4 mins or so). So, in terms of story, I think this show got a great plot for a short anime. It has the theme, the opening, the problems, the climax, and the solutions. Not just some weird, random story lines.
Art:
Not the best if you are looking for some great looking guy, since this is shounen-ai. But, I do love how they do the background. It has some oil or water colours feelings, and simply gorgeous to be seen. It was kind of weird to see the movement/animation though, but still refreshing to see something so
...
different compare to others.
Sound:
Not too many background sound, since this was a short anime. But, I do like the ending song though.
Character:
Just like the story, for me, this anime has the best character descriptions and development for a short anime. Both characters got clear personalities. And character development between two main characters were developed pretty good from the problems, climax, and solutions.
Enjoyment:
To be honest, it was quite entertaining for me, even though it was short anime with only 4 episodes. But, I feel satisfied watching it, and glad it wasn't disappointing or just some random short anime without story line.
Overall:
Great. You can try watching it, it wouldn't be hurt especially with such a short time and episodes. For me, this was the first short anime that I came to like in terms of plotting. And oh yea, don't forget that I love the art (despite the character faces, pst).

Story:
From the storyline/plot, this anime is confusing much. It's easy to follow the story, but there are too many 'suddenly'. Suddenly he becomes that or suddenly that appears, suddenly this appears, suddenly this happen, suddenly this person was mentioned whom I never saw for the entire anime.
Everything is lack of explanation and motivations/reasons as to why all of those happens? Who are actually the good guys? Who is siding with whom? Why is this guys like this? What and why are the reasons? It's all confusing.
I detest reading and giving spoiler, however I'll mention this: probably you might have read a summary of this anime
...
somewhere out there, mentioning that this anime has two groups: humans and vampires. One group are the antagonists and another is the protagonist. But, by the end of the day, you'll be wondering how many groups are actually there.
It was like there is an X and Y, but at the end it appears that X wanted to destroy Y, and Y wanted to destroy X, but then X got A who is making C, and there is B who is looking for E, and A wants to be friend with Y but destroy E (this is only an example, no relation whatsoever with the anime),
and everything happens without you knowing the reasons behind the action, not even until you finish the show.
But no worries, you can still follow the story somehow, idek, it's just since the past stories are vague, and so are the present.
Art:
It's okay, but when the characters are not in close-up, they are becoming weird somehow. Idk.
Sound:
Sawano Hiroyuki? I bet most people are interested with this anime because of him, but the soundtracks are a nope for me... other anime soundtracks on its season definitely better.
Character:
For the main and most of the supporting characters, you could see their character development, especially if you compare it from the previous season.
Although, there are several characters that are suddenly appear out of nowhere, or character who you can count how many times they appear suddenly have important roles out of the blue: without mentioning how and when and why.
Each and every characters past and motivations are also vague.
Enjoyment:
I'm a whole for man - man main characters with less girls on the screen, so this anime is good for me despite the whole mess and confusing characterisations and plot. This anime happen for pleasing all fujoshi out there I believe, including me.
So, I 'm honestly found an enjoyment watching this especially for cliffhanger on several last episodes.
If you don't have anymore anime to be watched or just deathly boring, you could try this anime..
My suggestion is just: don't think or you'll get totally confused, just enjoy the show and nods at everything they throw you.
Overall:
Honestly, the first season of this anime is not my cup of tea, and the second season is still not my cup of tea either. This anime isn't so bad that I have to put it in my black list.

I have to. I have to write a review for this manga!
Story:
Aside from Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike, this series is placed on my 2nd rank!
The story is absolutely mesmerising, and just different from other romance like shounen-ai manga.
Chigusa sensei perfectly gave serious complicated problems for this manga plot, which is just awesome. The internal/mental battle between personality was shown, and could easily grasped.
The backstory and moreover the climax though. Oh glob, it was heart wrenching that made me cry a river!
Different from Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike, which is a bit more slice of life: bottom, up, up, climax, relax,
...
back to the bottom (probably because it has so many chapters too). This manga plot was like from the bottom, up, up, climax, and BOOM, and there everything is at peace once again.
Art:
Again, the in several first volumes of the manga is not the best art of Chigusa sensei's art, but it certainly improved as the volume went on.
Af first, it was kind of hard for me to differentiate each character profile (design) because they are look almost the same, but as her art improved, I can now definitely tell who is who.
Character:
Best character development and relationship ever!!
What I love from this manga is on how Chigusa sensei set the backstory for the main character. It was a total angsty! and I'm crazy about angst!
Enjoyment:
If you want to read romance, family, complicated past, warning of abuse, and tons of feels. Then this is the right manga you're searching for. You will not regret it! I'm 120% sure.
Overall:
My 2nd rank!
Additional notes:
I love Chigusa Kawaii sensei works, I've been following another work of her: "Alice the 101st".
That manga got different character, but somehow the main character from this manga "La Esperanca" was included and got quite often scenes there too. So, you should check it that out too.
Different story and style too though, but I believe in Chigusa sensei's works.

Story:
I never, ever watch nor play baseball, and I have no idea about baseball at all. The story is actually quite basic for a sport anime, but somehow this anime took my interest, even though I need to watch several episodes before finally giving myself to continue watching this show.
With 75 episodes for one season, I firstly wonder where the hell this anime is going? What on earth happen to this anime if it keeps going for 75 episodes? Not even Kuroko no Basket took that much episodes to complete a whole manga.
And now I understood as to why it has so many episodes.
...
This show is giving each and every teams their own highlights. They didn't abandoned even one single small team, they at least show a bit of story and/or history.
You would be wondering (including me), that who is the real main team for this show? You might guess it's Seido, but somehow other teams also (and almost) got same portion on the show. Which is great, because you would understand each and every team, how hard they are working, and you'll be confused as to whom you'll be cheering on.
Surprisingly, even though this might seems like it takes so much time (slow plot) but it didn't. It's actually interesting, as to not many sports anime did this, since usually they focused on the main team/school.
It might getting a bit boring though, during the game. Because there are many 'strategic mind talking', for me, who barely understand a single thing about baseball, it was something to work on, so I'm a bit tired and bored. But, somehow the action of the game never let me down.
Character:
Sawamura Eijun is the main character, but as you watch along, you'll be as confused as I was, who is the real main character? lol since as the show goes, the story does not revolved around Sawamura anymore, there were even several episodes where he didn't get his face on the screen. You'll wonder, I'm sure.
As stated previously, this show does not only focus on main character and team. It tells the other teams and of course almost each and every one on the team. And not to be surprised, baseball teams have many people, of course.
Again, this is actually amazing, because you could definitely see each and every character development, their relationship (in and between the team). You will understand each personality.
Art:
Great, everything is great. Nothing to be complained.
Sound:
Oh glob. I love their OPs and EDs. I don't know why but their songs are kind of making me in high spirits. All songs were totally match with the scene and sport thing-y.
Enjoyment & Overall:
Watch this anime and you'll hardly find any great baseball anime as this one. It's refreshing and enjoyable and fun and exciting.

Because this manga is still on going, all my ratings are based up to the 15th volume, so it might goes up or down as the story goes..
I'm actually not a fan to write a review of manga that I haven't finish reading or anime that I haven't finish watching, but I just need to write a review for this manga, just because.
Ok, firstly, I want to be honest. I start reading this manga because of Sawamura Eijun, ehm, that beautiful obnoxious and loud pitcher from Diamond no Ace, since he seemed to be hooked up with this manga. Soooooo, I tried.
And honestly, I understand
...
why Eijun loves this manga so very much.
Based on story or plot, it actually quite simple, and normal. Nothing too different compare to other romance manga. BUT, I have several reasons as to why I love this and I would recommend this manga to you:
The story does not revolved around the romance only! What I love about this manga is how the mangaka seems to put generous amount of space to tell and let the friendship grows between characters (either the girls or the boys side). It's beautiful, truly.
Secondly, what I love about this story is how the mangaka chose the personality for each and every characters is to: BE HONEST. Thus makes the story get away from such a ridiculous misunderstanding or cliche fight. The situation that the mangaka tries to tell is genuine. That is why I love it, because I don't need to add more tsundere people.
I can never say bad to the art. The art is not so much to be reviewed.
Enjoyment and overall, this manga is great, and you'll love it. If not because of the story, but at least you'll fall in love on how honest the characters are, and their friendship, and their romance.

Story based:
Honestly, from some of 'Voice Actors' manga I've been reading up until today, this one got the first rank.
The plot is simple (as usual, I'm sorry I'm lacking on description simply because I don't want to spoil anything), which is why this manga only have 4 volumes. And unbelievably interesting to be read.
Unfortunately, I feel that the mangaka could write more, could make story longer and much deeper. And the story seemed to be rushed.
However, as I read on the author's note, it seems that Kisaragi sensei almost abandoned this manga for a while, and it took longer to publish the
...
3rd and 4th volume. Probably that's why Kisaragi sensei decided to end the story, just when the readers were hooked and expecting more.
Art:
I love the art, based on character design. To be honest, I read this manga because of how good Kisaragi sensei draw many handsome males in one manga, lol.
Character:
Even though the ending was rushed, but it seemed that Kisaragi sensei knew what to do in each characters and personality. You could definitely knew the character development on each characters.
Enjoyment & Overall:
This manga is quite a catch, especially for those who love josei or more to shounen-ai. You could definitely take a break from such actions or romance type of manga by reading this manga.
I do hope his manga could get an anime adaptation though, because this seems interesting and the plot might seems a bit 'lively' when it's taken into an anime.

Well, finally, after a long time of waiting, this series is finally comes to an end.
Story:
From the first episode up to the eleventh, I might have a hard time to understand everything, but at least I could grasp what's on the anime. I wouldn't reveal anything in terms of story by the way. However, coming to watch the last episode, I was totally lost up until half of the way. I don't know whether it was because the gap between I watched the 11th and the 12th, or maybe because I was too dumb.
But yes, the story is a bit complex and take a little
...
bit of time to process, but still fun to follow. It gives a new air of plot and it does interesting.
Art:
Not the best compare to other anime on its season, but still okay. You won't get dizzy or something. Though I love the concept of the main character's shining blue goddess eyes, it's lovely.
Sound:
Oh gosh, you will not want to see how I react when I heard its OP & ED. I was jumping around and dancing and I even remember how THEY dance on the ED! damn. Catchy and fun!
Soundtrack are also amazing, not just like any other soundtrack in anime. All the jazz and fun classical music during serious battle. I couldn't understand it at first and find it a bit funny, but still, I couldn't help but feel, "This anime is sure is different."
Characters:
You'll love all of them, even the antagonise. You wouldn't dare to hate them, well probably that one. All of them are just lovely on their own way, and funny, and adorable, and I would love to be surrounded people like that. My life wouldn't be so boring.
Enjoyment:
The story in each episodes are fun to be watch, you could get the feels with tears and in other time I bet you might get a chuckle or if it's good enough, a laugh. Though in terms of understanding the whole situation of the plot, you might not find an enjoyment from that unless like I'm just the only one who don't understand it :(
Overall:
You might want to try to watch this anime, it might be worth it. And not only one episode, try up to 6 episodes at least, for the sake of getting into the story, art, sound, and character. If until the 6th episode you thought this anime is boring, then you can just give it up.
For me, this is the best anime on its season.

I had read most of yaoi and shounen ai manga, and to be honest I like many of them too. So, not to be biased, but Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kike was outstanding and I love it so very much.
Story:
The story is mainly revolved around friendship and family. You might get a clue of romance here and there, but the relationship of both character might be a bit vague. Perhaps I could say that the relationship of main characters are too deep that you might get wondering whether they are best friend, a family, or lover, maybe a mix of all.
Art:
I love Miyuki
...
Abe sensei's art, though when you read this manga, it was not her best drawing during the several first volumes, but it was improved as the volume and story continue. I believed you will get hooked by the first time you read this manga.
Characters:
The story does not have too many characters, and you will remember each and everyone clearly. The characterisation for both of the main characters (Kiyomine and Takara) and most of the supporting characters are crystal clear. You will clearly understand their personality and background.
The characters development are great, especially Kiyomine and Takara. You will see how they started their relationship, how they have changed, and act at the end of the story. The interesting thing was their relationship might change and developed but their original personality were not changing at all. I love how sensei could pictured that we do not need to change our personality or thinking to be liked by others, because we have our own charms.
And be happy, you not only see the main characters development, but the other characters too!
Length & Genres:
This manga isn't like any other shounen-ai manga, why? Because it has so many chapters and volumes. No shounen-ai manga can get this long. But no worries, you will not get bored, and the plot doesn't seem to be so slow at all. You will find enjoyment in every chapters. You will get the mix of comedy, drama, romance, friendship, family, slice of life, problem, and drama equally.
Summary:
Everything are great and I really do recommend this manga for everyone out there who are looking into reading a shounen-ai manga that has real story, not just some cliche romance drama or a lemon or PWP. This manga is worth the time to be appreciated. I really do hope they would make this manga into an anime. I would die for this because It will be worth it lol
Overall, this manga is beyond amazing, and for me, there is no manga, not even a usual 'normal' romance manga that has yet appear to beat this manga.

The music and of course means original soundtrack is wonderful. I love the original soundtrack including its two openings and endings song.
In terms of art, I cannot say much. It is a good art, both character design and the concept art are great.
I must admit the animation was awesome! Just look at how Arima played his piano, not many music (especially) piano anime can animate such a great move of fingers on the keys. I am always, well almost hyperventilated every time I watched them play. It was outstanding.
The character development was... okay?
Now, in terms of story. I know many people love this anime,
...
but I am sorry this was not my cup of tea. The idea was all good, I'd no problem... but how they put the idea and make it into story, I was just... should I say dreadful? The plot was horrifyingly slow. It was devastating for me to watch this anime, and disappointed, and tired, and so so so angry.
Moreover, the thing I most detest was the flashback that keeps appearing in the middle of the performance and repeating over and over again. I know flashback is important to build the feel and emotions, but this was too much. I was so annoyed that I feel like want to throw my TV away.
I think it will be better if they cut it into 12 episodes.. After the 10th episode, I skipped most of the part and only get into the performance.
So, the art and soundtrack are both mesmerising, but the story wasn't that interesting to watch. Piano no Mori movie is much more heartwarming than this sad romance music thing. In terms of story, Sakamichi no Appollon still wins compare to Shigatsu. My mistake was to watched this anime when I knew that romance anime is a no for me....
