They both include action, and mainly fight for their nakama. If anyone harms their nakama they both won't stand for it. Strange similarity: both main character have articles of clothing that they treasure, as well as both being generally viewed as 'stupid'. If you like One Piece, than I suggest giving Fairy Tail a go!

If you liked Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu add

...then you might like Angel Beats! add

Both have hot-headed female leads who are somewhat incharge of the rest. Both shows are bottom line hilarious, not to mention the fair share of seriousness they both contain. Comedy, Romance, Tragedy, and action in both shows. If you're a Suzumiya fan, you'll definitely be a fan of Angel Beats!.

If you liked Kaze no Stigma add

...then you might like Seiken no Blacksmith add

If you want another anime including ecchi shots, tsundere redheads, and cool main male characters with a tragic past, than take a look at Seiken no Blacksmith.

If you liked Clannad add

...then you might like Angel Beats! add

If you're looking for another heart-warming anime, than Angel Beats is the one for you! It's just as tragic as Clannad, with a fair share of romance as well. With only 13 episodes, it won't take away that much time from you-- and definitely deserves a chance! It's short, sweet, and one of my favorites.
