Ok so let me give you a REAL REVIEW not one after 3-4 episodes bcs those reviews are the most useless ones being written just after you think you ve seen all and give a final conclusion to an anime just after some first thoughts
So if you plan to watch the anime and expect:
-romance between mc and the girls go watch domestic girlfriend
-a hero mc that saves people and forgive the villains go watch Demon Slayer or MHA
-a isekai where the MC is useless and rely on the other characters or has a build up along the ep go watch something else
So at first
...
the anime start with the MC wish(i ll call him by his name, Cid) to be "the eminence in shadow"..not hero not villain(he said later that he ll folllow only his path),he train a lot but couldn t obtain magic being just a normal human
After the normal isekai reincarnation he s in a world full of magic and become what he really want and be a total badass and sometimes the funnier MC after he invent the whole story and ends up being true
The shadows are ALL gorgeous and have their own personality and role during the anime
The fights and dialogues are godlike especially the last ep
Of course you ll a ecchi ep at a hot spring and some "good angles" but that s what everyone wants these days
The villains aren t strong until the last ep but the fights with the MC and the shadows are AWESOME,animation is amazing too at fights and the "ATOMIC" scene always gives me shivers down the spine
The story develop is good until this point and the only complain that i have is if won t be a second season
So in a word the anime is WORTH WATCHING 100%
A different isekai without ecchi at every single minute or a useless and weak MC .It gives you the sensation of funny and cool in the same time
So guys NEVER forget the reviews after 5 ep especially the ones that are written 3 pages bcs those are just improper reviews based on a few episodes not the anime as a whole(if you have a problem with the anime after 3 ep at least let the other people to watch and decide if it s good or not)
