It’s actually kinda fast paced/ rushed and does not fully follow the manga closely due to them changing some stuff up that either you like it, you don’t, or it doesn’t make a lot of sense compared to the OG source materials such as the manga. This reboot is produced by Yumeta Company x Graphinica which they rather messed things up such as skipping scenes that ended up in a fast paced or change things especially in the other anime they’ve worked on. Moreover, some of the other anime produced by these two collaborated studios does not get a decent amount of rating such as ... Muv Luv Alternative. The art-style are sometimes good or sometimes bad depending on the episode. Disappointing to see. If they somehow faithfully follow the manga more closely and maybe add some extra fillers to help the story if needed then it could be better rather than changing stuff up. Recommend the manga or the OG anime instead of this.

I recommend to whoever likes Vanguard would take a chance to watch this new sequel anime and for newcomers as well. The third season does indeed improved from the first season in terms of showing more of the card fighting. It’s a little strange to tell newcomers to watch a sequel to only be confused but due to the complaint from many people that the first season has less fighting, I do suggests going onward with the third season which felt more like a fresh start from what the anime studio has been doing for the previous seasons. Let’s just say we have some new ... characters joining in the series that showcases one of them being a new player with a tutorial on how to play, and a new tournament arc. However, if not, do go watch the first two seasons so you won’t be confused if you don’t mind the lack of card fighting; although, the second season does show a bit more than the first season. The art-style and animations are still great but I believe they rather downgrade the art-style a little which is whatever since it still looks good. I’ve read that some people wanted the former characters from the original anime such as Aichi and Kai to make a come back which I don’t think will happen in this sequel due to it being a new era after all. It’s time to start fresh with new characters and a new story.

First of all, for some who only speculate the cover, this show is for anybody, don't let the picture fool you, it will not be about gay, bromance or whatever. There are some moments where it seems kind of idk gay but it's just the characters are caring for each other as friends.

This show is good and I actually like it because of the supernatural stuff. When I watched it, I thought it would be about time travel ... powers to fixed the past and things will turn better at the end. However, it's not really the case because in some episodes, it show that fixing the past can lead to paradox which either can be good or maybe bad. In some cases, instead of good result, it shows that fixing the mistake from the past can led to another event that is more worse than the previous. It was rather surprising and I guess it's good that they showcase this because in reality, there will be disappointment or things that will not go right as we wanted. There are other things in it that they will show in this Donghua. Basically, this show is sad and a kind of dark. I will include SPOILER below for the boys and girls can read it too if you're okay.

There will be a girl who is kind of cute that will appear in the show.

This anime is not bad and I do like it because theme is about vampires and how the colors weren’t as bright as modern anime which fits with the whole historical vampire thing. The opening/ ending is good and it gets a little sad later on. Also, there were some actions such fighting in the show but it’s not really intense or long but at least there’s something. For those who is watching the first episode, I suggests to continue watching and not drop it if you are confused because they will explain it later on after the first episode.
