The first season is an anime of my teen years, one of the first I've ever watched and I love it so much after all those years. After rewatching it recently, I discovered there was a second season!

Throughout the first half of that season I was very excited to learn about the story, the arc with the disease is so interesting and captivating, but after that it kind of... stops feeling like Saiunkoku at times? Characters and plot points start to appeare out of nowhere and the context often doesn't elaborate much about them, it feels a bit off.

All I can really say about it is that there is more to this anime than it meets the eye on the first glance. It's really worth to give it a try. I was sceptical in the beginning as well, but oh boy, did it grab me by the throat and made me eagerly wait for every next episode and now that it's finished, I will miss watching it on Thursdays.

It's so casually queer and kinky and I loved it all. Also, I really liked the contrast of magical fairies fighting with normal people's everyday problems. All those issues they were solving felt so ...

After first episode, I had mixed feelings, but decided to continue. Second episode caught my interest and created some expectations just for the rest of this show to disappoint me completely.

The issues they are solving just come and go as if it was nothing, there is no good conclusions, no consequences for anything happening, it's all just one big mess of ridiculous cases just so the characters had something to do. Which is really upsetting, considering the potential I saw in the plot from second episode - I thought it's going to play much bigger role? But it was never brought up again? While it ...
