Honestly, this anime was a huge disappointment.
What really irked me here was the execution of the story. It felt awful, especially when compared with the LN. The anime glosses over details and worldbuilding in its attempt to fit as much mecha action in as possible, and, of all things, uses a narrator - a disembodied voice - to give whatever small bits of exposition they might have considered important. In this kind of anime.
As for the rest, they seem to be relatively good in comparison. The art isn't anything special, but it works well enough and delivers on the premise. Sound is okay, even if

Sakurada Reset feels like one of the most underappreciated anime I've seen. This anime delivers a deep, nuanced plot that takes time to fully grasp and comprehend, but which makes it much easier to appreciate the nuances it includes. It appears incredibly elitist to claim that this anime is only really for those "with brainpower", as many others have said before me, but Sakurada Reset truly is a more thought-provoking anime than most.
