At first these anime don't look similar at all. But upon closer examination we can see that IWGP is a didactic anime disguised as a series of loosely linked adventures, just like Hataraku Saibou -although less explicitly. The similarities end here though: where IWGP talks about present-day Japanese society, HS teaches us about our body. But if you like this type of narration, I suggest you to give a chance to Hataraku Saibou because I found it funnier and overall more enjoyable than IWGP

Harenchi Gakuen is like the old grandparent of every ecchi manga, included HSDxD. In both manga there are a lot of action segments interwoven with the sexy displays of boobs and asses. In HSDxD the story is about supernatural creatures, involving demons and angels, while Harenchi Gakuen satirizes the Japanese society of the times (which is not so different from the one we live in nowadays). The structure of HG is often episodic, even though there is a continuity, instead HSDxD's events are all tightly linked together

Heroes and villains of both manga operate in groups, that they perceive (almost) like their families, and some characters in opposite factions are somehow linked on a personal level. Both manga have a very good character design, while their fight scenes are not always easy to read. Their general art style is particular, a bit gothic and steampunk (though Smokin' Parade is also gory and a bit disturbing).

Terra Formars

Both have a huge cast with diverse characters and the main protagonist is not always the center of all what happens. Both have complex battles and situations and a lot of plot twist, though Terra Formars is a lot more fast-paced so I think it's a bit less enjoyable because I have the feeling that everything is always changing; also Terra Formars' dire situations are resolved with pure strenght more often. In both anime there are enemies which are anthropomorfic insects. Both have a lot of dialogue and also an external narrator that explains a lot of what's going on. OSTs and drawings/animations are good in both anime (but better in HxH imho)
