I don't usually go for thrillers but man, I can't empathize how good this was.

There aren't a lot of works out there that cover mental illness in a way that's both intriguing and respectful. We get to see in detail why Yoseob is the way he is, and how the decisions and actions (or inactions) of others inhibits and changes him. However, he's not completely demonized as many characters who suffer from similar conditions are in other series. The story also touches on the butterfly effect as a major theme as well, which was one of my favorite aspects of the story.

This is by far one of my favorite historical Manhwa that I've read. I genuinely don't understand anyone who's read this and says it's boring. It has suspense, romance, action and wonderful messages about found family, adoption and allowing others to love you. It should be mentioned that there's severe child abuse and violence towards children mentioned and shown in the series, so if you're very sensitive to that subject matter, this story may not be for you. The abuse shown isn't *super* graphic, but definitely read at your own discretion.

In my opinion, the FL and pretty much all the characters are well written ...

This is probably one of if not the most interesting manhwa with the villainess/reincarnation theme that I've read. The pace is just right to keep the reader hooked and the author really knows how to build up suspense. My only real complaint would be that the ending of the series seemed a little rushed, and it would have been more beneficial for the author to focus on a fully developed ending rather than adding so many bonus chapters in the epilogue. That's the only reason why I won't give it a perfect 10/10.

The main character, while being labeled as a villainess, is easy to cheer ...
