Kind of an updated review since most of the top reviews were of before 100 chapters.
THE STORY AND PLOT-- it is somewhat 5/10. Feels bland, stretched and boring. The author imo is a bit of psychopath who just loves to find ways to kill people but can't do it irl so is doing it via a medium which is this manga. Up until like 70 or 80 chap the story was fine but the author just keeps on stretching the story unnecessarily by including new and boring plot lines. It feels repetitive and just ignorant on the behalf of the creator at this point.

So i first watched the violet evergarden series and kind of loved it with how good it's animation, music and storyline was. So my expectations for this movie were very high but i ended up disappointed. When you make a canon movie about an anime, it is supposed to show a new and a different arc, with interesting plotline but violet evergarden does almost nothing new in the movie. Same violet writes a letter for a dying person and repeats like the same plot for 10th time. The character development of violet was pretty less even though other characters had a significant development

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

this anime gets a lo of hatred and i know why it gets that much hatred. Being a naruto fan i gave it a try and like the first 2 or 3 arcs were good but it had a great downfall after that. I dropped this anime after 50 episodes but later i tried it again and it didn't dissapoint me again like just skip the fillers after 50 or 60 episodes as they are horrible and will make you drowsy. After 100 episodes it has many good arcs with a lot of good fights. TBH people downplay it a lot, it has weak starting
