Fear of the unknown.
I initially came to this anime in search of something with great animation, and although i did receive what I came for, it was not all I got.
Story
Not expecting much of a story, I move into this with small expectations. Little did I know the story is very deep with many morals. Although the structure is flawed with plot holes, it is easily overlooked with the very well transmitted moral.
Art
First, It must be taken into consideration that this was aired 1998-2000. The art/animation was beautiful in this. The style was fairly old due to the airing date, but that quality was

well beyond most anime of this time. The animation creates a favorable atmosphere that allows those who prefer modern animation to enjoy and become indulged in the anime.
Sound
The sound in this was somewhat unique. There was a lot of jazz which was nice to hear for once after a long time. There was no opening theme and an ending theme that was nothing special. The sound during the anime was not well done and did not fit the situations well. Despite the fact that the music by itself is nice, the usage of the music is not well done.
Character
The characters in this show are not anything special. There is not much character development in the anime and their backgrounds are not well explained.
As far as enjoyment goes, I can highly recommend this if you would like a nice moral and some outstanding art, but would definitely ask you to refrain from watching it if you are expecting to get to know the characters.

Well, This show is quite something. To say the truth it definitely has or had potential to be really good, but even though it doesnt meet expectations it is entertaining.
Why? you might ask?
Well, what i meant by it having potential is that the story is pretty unique and involves a whole different world with different problems, yet has some things that we have on Earth, like guns and airplanes and they all look the same. the story is about. Well, the story is about a country with 2 sides that have a conflict regarding their history which leads to a war. Now this war has been going on for a long time and has affected many people. And, Some people it happens to affect are the main characters. One day though they find hope on stopping the war completely and chase after it. And now after finding out a way to stop the war they chase after it fighting through people, learning lessons, and finding friends.
Sorry if I butchered any of the wording. I'm not the best writer. I just hope i got what i was trying to say across to you.
Ok, Now for what brought down the chances of success of this anime. Well, first ill talk about the art. The art definitely looks very good and vivid which makes all the more enjoyable to watch. But, although it looks good it lacks some things. One thing is the little details. I don't know if you knew but even the smallest of details in the art makes a big difference and in this anime it definitely lacks the little details. Second is the art lacks spice. And by spice i mean facial expressions. Where does this matter? well it matters in the characters. And while you watch you will notice how when you might think one of the characters should look embarrassed or angry or sad, they actually don't(or at least not enough). This is definitely a problem because how the characters express their feelings in the show, influences the viewers.
And those are basically the things that pulled down this anime in the ratings.
Now ill talk a little bit about the characters. Well, what I think is important in the characters of an anime is variety. And by that, I mean a variety of personalities. This show does have a variety but is nothing special. The characters are interesting and have interesting personalities that help make the viewers want to watch more and more(which every anime should have).
And i guess ill tell you about 2 of the main characters in the show.
Well, one of them is named Wil. When Wil was born he was taken care of by his birth parents, but when he turned three years old they put him on the door step of an orphanage. Wil is a smart boy and is at the top of his class. Wil's grades are also high enough for him to be aloud to not go to class. Lastly, Wil is a kind person that takes care of his friends and thinks of solutions for situations.
The other one is named Allison. Allison is a blonde young girl and also is Wil's childhood friend. Allison is a pilot in the air force for one of the sides in the war. Although she is a pilot she wishes for no violence and wants the war to end. When Allison was eight years old, her father passed away so she was taken to the orphanage where Wil met her. Allison always caused trouble and didn't listen to anyone, and so she always got in trouble and always managed to get Wil in trouble too. Although she is stubborn, she also has a strong heart and doesn't give up. She cares for Wil and her friends and together they try to stop the war. That, i hope, shows you that there is some variety in the characters and also tells you a little bit about them.
Ok. Well, im getting tired and I am going to wrap this up. This anime is very nice and is very entertaining. It is fun to watch and if you ignore the minor faults this anime has you will notice it is actually really good. I hope you will enjoy watching this amime(as am i).

Ok well, School days is definitely full of surprises and has some good traits about it, but overall I truthfully don't think you will enjoy this anime. When i first started this show i thought it would be ok because it looked like a more of happy mood show. But its all wrong after around the 4th episode you notice some things that you can almost foresee that it will become sad.
Why will it be sad?
Well, I can't tell you too much because it will spoil it, but the main character is one that you will hate and you will most definitely think of him
...
as disgusting excuse for a man(which was what I thought). He is the kind of person who, I thought at least, only thinks about sex and cares nothing for what on the "inside".
But still this is all based on opinion. If you like sad endings, a bad main character, and a story that you can foresee to be bad then you will like this anime :D
Also, let me just say that if I knew that the character would be like that and that the story would be so sad, then i wouldn't have watched it :/.

If your looking for a funny ecchi anime, this one is definitely nice to watch. It has nice story though i think it is kind of unorganized. The art is good and makes it all the more better for you to watch. And the characters are funny and very ecchi.
Definitely, fun to watch, and to say the truth i think i am overrating this anime, buy i am rating it on how much i enjoyed it and depending on if it gave me what it said it would give me(genres).

Steins;Gate,
All i can think of is how much of an amazing anime this is :P.
There are so many good things about this anime. Things i will talk about will be the lessons it teaches and some other things ill tell you later. First in this show you will go through many emotions of sadness, happiness, love, and confusion. But, don't worry everything makes complete sense in the end. anime. Some things aren't explained well yet some things are explained completely(but again it all adds up in the end). Keep reading :)...
Story:
The story, I would say, is freaking crazy. Your brain is all over the place as you watch. The story not only is good but is put together perfectly to give you an experience that you can trust will be mind blowing :P. Lastly what makes it good is that it is unique, and has many(i guess) unique(in a good way) ideas.
Art:
The art is so-so. Not many animes have this kind of art(at least animes that ive seen) but it is still good. I am not going to talk to much about the art. I guess all i can say is it is unique art but still good enough to keep you happy.
Characters:
There is a decent variety of characters. Types are, mad scientist, smart girl, good-innocent girl, otaku guy, and some others that if i say too much will spoil. Overall the characters fit the anime well and are good at giving you the experience you would want.
Anyways, back to what i was talking about in the beginning. There are many lessons that you will learn in this anime. You will learn how "without bad or sadness, there is no good or happiness" and that in "time traveling" the more you try to change the past the worse the future gets. There are some more that are nice but not as important.
Well...
Tha'ts mostly what i can think of and basically it is worth watching it's really entertaining and is fun to watch.

Sword Art Online, Ill be strait forward, it is a really good show and i will tell you why in a little bit. SAO well deserves its high score in the top list. The plot is very unique and is extremely well made. Whats more is all the art, sound, characters, and everything else is just perfect and suits the show perfectly.
Story---
Very unique and to top it off it is executed perfectly. For example, In the first episode it talks about him a little and then he starts to play the game...(and to top that off the art is so amazingly vivid and it really

makes it much more enjoyable)
The story is very unique in the sense that there are virtual reality games and that one of them when you start you cannot leave. Also the organization of what goes where is really well done.
Only complaint is that they could have made this last longer considering the idea or the plot has a lot to offer.
Art---
As i said before the art is incredible. It is vivid and filled with colors with many little details shown. The kind of art that is shown in this is the kind where the characters are more cute and less realistic looking. For example, they don't look like the main characters in Baccano(if that's what you like).
Characters---
Hmm...
In SAO, ill be strait forward and say that there is not much of a variety of the kind of characters. It is more or less of the same personality for most characters, BUT don't get me wrong. Just because there isn't much of a variety in characters doesn't mean they aren't good. It is still very enjoyable(though that all comes down to what you like in anime for the characters to be, so basically it's all opinion :P).
Overall,
Sword Art Online is very enjoyable and every episode leaves me with new found questions, answers, and always leaves me wanting more.

This anime is unique and has a many fun characters. One thing is that it was pretty confusing in the beginning, but make sure you keep watching because everything makes sense in the end(and it seriously feels like you are putting a puzzle together in the beginning) which is part of why this anime is good. But still the story is nothing like i have seen in any other anime so far.

was unexpected it was very enjoyable. What i personally liked and what made this anime much more unique was that it was all happening in the 1930's.
Art(8)- The art was good don't get me wrong but wasn't anything different then other animes with good art, but still even though it wasn't much different from others it was still very nice.
Character(10)- There were so many characters in this anime, and the thing is that its not like where there are a few main characters and the rest support, no every character in the story has a role, a very important role that when put together finishes the puzzle.
Enjoyment(9)- Well, don't think just because I say it's good it is good because this is based completely on opinion, but tell me. Who doesn't love mystery, lots of blood and shooting, and awesome characters!!! There is so much blood in this and because it has more of an up feel mood when you watch it, it makes it that much more awesome.
Is it worth the time? It really depends. If you like a lot of blood and action, but with mystery and confusion mixed in then you will enjoy it and will definitely be worth the time. Anyways have fun watching the anime, it is really something.

I like this anime so far, it has a fairly unique story that isnt boring and the good art and diversity of the types of characters really helps and makes it much more enjoyable.
Not a must see anime but is nice and worth the time.
Also those who are watching Sword Art Online, the main character in this anime highly resembles Kirito in SAO

This anime was overall not too amazing. The art wasn't too good but then again it was made 8 years ago so just keep that in mind(but still compared to other anime made from same art isn't too good). I dont usually talk about the sounds but this anime's sound was also not amazing. The story was fairly unique but was also pretty boring the only thing that was better about this anime was that the characters had somewhat different personalities. I can't say much about enjoyment of the anime because i enjoy all animes but if i were to compare to some of my

other higher ranked animes i would say i would give it a(6) for enjoyment.

I did enjoy this anime and was nice to watch including the art which was really good, but my only complaint about it was that the story is kind of hard to follow even though i figured it out after watching the last episode twice, but still it was kind of confusing but all added together in the end.
PS. This is completely off track but this was confusing like how Inception, if you have seen it, was. But again it adds up in the end.
