These two stories have pretty similar elements. The protagonists are cunning, manipulative yet sympathetic men who trust nobody but themselves to achieve their goals but who put on a charming facade to the world. Both their pasts were full of hardships that had greatly shaped them to be who they are now. Also, both Twilight and Kazunari get married/engaged only to further their respective purposes and they're constantly wary of getting too emotionally involved with their wives. Yet they always end up acting impulsively and letting their masks slip off because they actually care. Like Anya, Kazunari can read minds. He had relied on this power to carry out his plans all his life but this ability is useless on his wife, so he has to learn to communicate with her in a more natural way. This happens to Twilight too, when his expert spy skills just aren't enough to understand his family. The wives, Yor and Nana, are earnest, kind and naive women who are keeping a secret from their husbands and both have overprotective younger brothers. There's actually more similarities but overall both Spy x Family and Kimi no Koe are heartwarming stories about found families formed between characters who are outsiders to society and who have secrets they’re keeping from each other that could potentially tear them apart.
