I don't like overly praising anime/manga or authors unless I really love it/their work, but I have to say that Suzuki Julietta has become one of my favorite mangakas because of her amazing works.
Story: Robots and Andriods have been done before, but somehow Suzuki Julietta's is different and much more intriguing. Of course it's the life of a robot but somehow it's all exciting and you become very touched when you read about the characters, especially Odette herself. ~
Art: The art is simple but somehow its still very beautiful

Story: Although only four chapters have been released, what the reader receives is so far great entertainment. The plot revolves around assassins and the "I hate you" revenge type however it is thoroughly intriguing somehow. There's also been a little bit of Shounen-ai in the first few chapters and the manga is ranked as "Shojo" so I'm a little confused. Hopefully this manga will live up to my expectation. =)
Art: I love the art. It is phenomenal. The characters are drawn well, the expressions portrayed are easy to understand and everything is clean and is pleasing to the eye. Although I can't really say it ... Dec 27, 2008
Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch
(Anime)
add
Story: I found the story interesting however very incomplete. =/ In the beginning I had a little trouble getting into it but after I did, I enjoyed it very thoroughly. ^^ However the ending was terrible. Dx I didn't get it at all. I know there's a second season out there but still.
Art: I think it was done well. Sound: I did love some of the soundtracks. =DD However the second opening drove me crazy. I disliked it very much. Character: I loved the characters. (Except for some useless and insane ones) But sadly during the end, they all turned crazy so I blame that on the ... Dec 13, 2008
Kuroshitsuji
(Manga)
add
Story: The idea and concept of Kuroshitsuji is very good and you really don't know what will happen next. The story is a little confusing because we, the readers, do not know quite yet what the whole point of goal of the plot is. However the little arcs are fascinatig and historical and very well made as well telling us important morals.
Art: The art is simply BRILLIANT. Everything and I mean everything is amazing. The backgrounds are detailed and the flowers, tea sets, clothes, and the characters are intricately detailed and drawn very well as well. Characters: I love the characters. I cannot help it. 83. ... Nov 30, 2008
Rosario to Vampire
(Anime)
add
Story: Rosario + Vampire is average and very boring. The plot is basically like all of those Sailor Moon episodes where they have really no meaning. There's a ridiculous amount of fanservice with the main Protagonist receiving a nosebleed every two minutes.
Art: I thought the art was fine. I guess there wasn't really anything wrong with it much. Character: I thought the characters were made poorly. You see many types of these characters in these sorts of love comedy's. One single useless weak guy surrounded by amazing gorgeous girls. It's almost like Ichigo 100% except for the fact that it contains supernatural beings. Enjoyment: ... Nov 29, 2008
Nabari no Ou
(Anime)
add
Haha, NO, this is not a Naruto copycat or anything like it. Nabari No Ou is completely different withinself and quite unique. Even though it's based on ninjas, so what? Just because Bleach has shinigami, does that mean other anime/manga can't have shinigami's?
I think the art was done well and I would rate the story higher if not for the anime terrible ending. >< It wasn't really 'terrible' but more or less disappointing and unsatisfactory. But then again, most anime madeup endings are irritating. Also I think one of the greatest points of Nabari No Ou is its characters. They're fundamentally unique and the ... Nov 27, 2008
Vampire Knight
(Manga)
add
To be quite honest, I think the only really good part of this manga is the art. However even so the talking bubbles can be confusing and all the characters are too "undeniably beautiful". It's a beautiful style but just having good art isn't enough.
It's boring. I'll admit at first I thought I was curious and found it interesting. But over time, the repitiveness becomes annoying and irritating. It seems as if the same three main characters of this manga receive too much attention while all the others, who are probably even better than the main protagonists, receives a very minimum screentime. (Or linetime, w/e) ... |
