This is my first anime review but it only seems appropriate to write my first review for my favorite anime. The anime is mainly about a young girl whose house goes into foreclosure due to her fathers debt. She is obviously devastated and is left out on a bench not sure what to do when a strange voice calling for help followed by barks call her attention. She rescues the strange screaming man stuck in the tree from the dog simply by showing it love and in such great thanks this strange yet charismatic man gives her his home! She doesn't want to be ungrateful

for she has no where to go anyways and takes the man up on his offer. When she arrives at her new home it's simply a rotten old shrine with a gloomy aura, but that isn't the only surprise. There are creepy voices and a strangely attractive yet freaky fox demon to greet her. And that's how the first episode begins.
Overall the anime is hilarious and brought me a ton of joy. I would suggest reading the manga because the story line and art really come into the play and it's beautiful and my favorite manga as well. Tomoe is the main male character and I gotta say he's your classic cold hearted good looking guy who has a soft spot for that one special girl. Nanami is the main female character and she is light hearted, giving, and has a beautiful personality for a 2d anime characte. All the funny and lovably characters really makes the anime a favorite. I strongly suggest you give this anime a chance as well as the manga I believe you will truly enjoy the art. This is also the most different romantic comedy I've ever watched, it's different and will simply bring you joy.
