I found this anime on tiktok and only saw one clip of it and immediately stopped as I knew this was something that I liked. a hardcore yakuza falling in love with a girl and she didn't even gaf YES PLEASEEE!!11!
But this is not what I thought it was going to be about. it very much surprised me. I did not know that the main guy was going to be as crazy as he was and the blood and violence was very much not censored which is rare in anime. even though there is normal fighting scenes, they're a lot more brutal than

anime normally shows (like when she got pushes that one ep, THAT BITCH FLEWWWWW). there was also some sex scenes that I was not expecting, like he really became a munchkin FOR THE WRONG GIRL MIGHT I ADD! but I digress, I was expecting a full shojo cute that nothing ever really happens other than a few subtle glances and touches with a peck of a kiss and a bunch of overthinking for kids anime but this is very much for adults.
It was very unconventional with the romance, the main girl really didn't care about the main guy but despite the main guy saying that he loves her, he casually sleeps with other women ??? helloo??? I'm a true romantic so I don't when the main guy/girl is with someone else while they know each other but since the main girl really didn't care, i was chill with it.
I really enjoyed the main girl. I am so sick of the weak, submissive children that they try to portray as the main girls that are just very naïve. even though our main girl is naïve in this when it comes to romance, she is a badass outside of that. she doesn't obsess over guys and sage fights when she needs to. she's stubborn and gets the job done which I love in a girl character. her whole personality isn't about the guy and she can live without him. I love her.
With the guy though... idk how much I can say about him other than he's a full on psycho. I think his character is that he doesn't really understand emotions or relationships that's why he's confusing friends and girlfriends together but come on STOP SLEEPING WITH OTHER WOMEN WHEN YOURE TRYING TO ROMANCE A DIFFERENT GIRL !!!!! i wish he got more jealous but he's a psycho what can I expect like. Lowkey wanted her to get with the other guy (yes ofc this is also a love triangle what do you think this is)
the other guy is your typical childhood best friend that is quiet, brooding, protective "brother" figure, that wants to marry her as well even though its not explicitly said. he's nicer to her and the easier choice. but we don't always like the easier choice do we hehe.
The animation was the greatest but it wasn't totally bad that it was unwatchable. some punches looked odd but then others looked amazing. its really up to you, if you can watch it, but objectively its not the worse animation ever.
The story doesn't really make sense sometimes and I know that its the first season but it feels very unfinished. I don't think any development happened in the characters. there are definitely things that are not great about this anime but it did leave me wanting more. ill be patiently waiting for the nest season to fully get my thoughts around this anime, or read the manga either or.
