This manga was a lot better than I thought it would be. Although the characters did not initially seem to have the purest of intentions, they managed to turn these twisted feelings into something positive for one another. The series shows us how life throws awful challenges at people, such as loss, abuse, etc. It showcased how people can overcome these challenges and find their own source of happiness. I believe the series had a good portrayal of how helpless you may feel against your abuser, and the freedom and relief you feel once you have escaped them. While abrupt, I think the ending was
