I found this story to be extremely interesting and realistic. Usually in manga, the girl falls in love with a guy and stays with him and eventually moves on to the second guy and stays with him permanently if it's a love triangle. However, this manga portrays life- girls that are unsettled on their love. The truth is, we don't understand our hearts and our love interests tend to change as well. The same happens with the female protagonist of Parfait Tic, Fuuko. She's uncertain as to her feelings for Daiya and Ichi. And Daiya and Ichi are so lovable as well. Of course, the
...
male protagonists are clichéd. You have Daiya, the fun, lively, and funny one who's in danger of failing school. He appeals to the fun-loving Fuuko chan and she takes a liking to him. And then on the other hand, you have the cold Ichi kun, the smart one who doesn't take any nonsense. He's more secretive and has a lot more complexity to his character than Daiya. However, when push comes to shove, he too has feelings for Fuuko. It's a battle between the cousins for Fuuko's love. Who will win?
The only flaw with this series is its length. I feel like some parts are dragged out way too long...especially with Fuuko when she's rejected by one guy and has to learn how to move on...or when she's confused about her feelings for one or more of them. It gets annoying when you need to plow through 10+ painful chapters of her feeling remorse and depression when she sees the face of the guy that she used to like and now has to learn to act normal with. It was extremely annoying and repetitive, especially since this cycle of like, love, express feelings, get rejected repeats two/three times. And the guys...at times I felt like they were being cowards, Ichi mostly. He acted like a spoiled brat rather than that masculine shojo male figure girl's look up to. He doubted himself and he caused Fuuko to feel pain...now that does happen in manga, but it takes him forever to realize his mistake and his true feelings.
GAH I wish the series will end soon because it's taking forever. I think I know who she ends up with so for those of you who have read up to chapter 114 [because I'm updating myself with onemanga.com], there's probably a final arc where she will switch her love interest to the other guy [don't want to mention any names], and I think that'll be the conclusion of the story...or so I hope.
Anyhow, definitely a cute one to read so try it and see for yourself :D

When I first was recommended this manga, I thought to myself "Wow...why would anyone want to read this story? For one thing, it's too long. And for another thing, one of the guys in it has the weirdest-looking hair I've ever seen in a shoujo manga." However, I would soon find out that I would have to eat my words.
Hana Yori Dango is by far the best manga I have EVER read, and believe me, I read tons of shoujo manga. The storyline is typical, but the characters are so unique. Here's a girl, Tsukushi, who isn't afraid to say what she feels. She isn't
...
clingy like most females in manga are. She's upright and self-reliant. She's competent of taking on the tasks that no other individual, male or female, would be capable of taking on. She's amazing, both mentally and physically. And then there's Domyouji Tsukasa, the male lead of the story. He's violent, self-centered, hot-tempered, and doesn't know how to treat the woman he loves. However, deep inside, he is extremely caring and reliable. He's willing to sacrifice all his fame, wealth, and family name all for the sake of love, a feeling that he's not used to due to his cold childhood. Although he's not the ideal image of a shoujo male who can sweep a woman off her feet, he's definitely sweet and has his nice moments. Another thing I liked about this story was that it didn't focus so much on starting a relationship. Most shoujo mangas are about a girl and a guy who like eachother but can't admit it to one another until the very last chapter. This typical kind of story is SOO boring and OVER-USED. However, Hana Yori Dango is contrast because the relationship between the main characters initiate from the beginning chapters. The rest of the story is rather focused on building UPON the relationship and strengthening it when outside forces try to break them up. Hana Yori Dango teaches the reader to keep their head held up high and their hopes ignited even when it seems as if their love was falling into the depths of shadows and despair. The lessons of love, life, friendship, family, unity, and acceptance will forever hold a place in my heart.
Believe me, I read Hana Yori Dango in less than 3 days [and it's 240+ chapters!] I also read the top-rated shoujo manga such as Vampire Knight and I still would choose this manga over it because its lovable storyline and the unforgettable characters.
I'm currently watching the Japanese drama and it's wonderful as well.
DEFINITELY WORTH READING. This manga will be in your mental list of best mangas for years to come :D

The artwork is extremely pretty. Arine Tanemura has outdone herself once again! The story is cute and believable. I was confused because there were so many relationships going on and different gender orientations LOL. Also, at the end I wasn't sure how the story ended. It was left a little unclear but it's definitely worth reading♥ Of course it's mostly predictable but the first quarter of the story was a complete surprise to me.

I give this manga 10s all across the board. It's AMAZING. The story is extremely enjoyable and the characters are contrast from those that you usually see in shoujo manga. The girl has spunk and she's not afraid to say what she feels. The guy isn't the easiest to deal with, but he cares for the heroine in his own special ways. The story also includes tons of mystery and suspense since as of now, the readers have no idea on what the future holds in story. MORE RELEASES ARE NEEDED

Yes, this is a class shoujo manga where everything has pretty much already been spelled out for you without even reading it. I haven't completed it yet [there hasn't been any updates in the past month] but it's really cute. The artwork is simply AMAZING and very pretty. It reminds me of Arina Tanemura's work, though hers is more complex. However, it's a common story. A girl falls in love with her teacher whilst her childhood friend sorta is also in love with her...but she's too dense to realize it. And she, for reason, hates this guy anyway. So the rest of the story is
...
probably going to involve her falling in love with her friend. But I'm curious to see how this will happen and whether it'll involve the sensei's intervention. The teacher is sooo cute and lovable. READ IT! Even though it's predictable, it's adorable and I see a lot of potential for it.

At the time while I was reading this manga, I thought the story was pretty average in the beginning. It was just like any other story where a love triangle forms, and a couple forms while one guy is left out. And of course, this guy is the despicable one that the main heroine has no intention of falling in love with. But then twists occur and mysteries begin to develop. By the end of the story, it's a surprising ending, but when you think about it, the story couldn't have ended any other way.
Overall, I would read this manga, but I found the
...
heroine of the story extremely annoying. Obviously, she lets men take over her life too much, and doesn't understand the severity of her actions.
Also, in the beginning it may seem like the story is progressing slowly and is way too happy - trust me, something bad will happen soon enough.
Also, I felt like one of the main male heroes was way too focused on sex. He confused sex with being the most important thing in a relationship, and this sends a wrong message out to the audience. I didn't like how the heroine was letting herself be pushed around by the male hero either.
