Great story, with tons of unique concepts and massive amount of potential from the world that has been built.
Art is good enough to hold your attention, without being the main appeal of the anime.
Sound does it's job. Not outstanding.
Characters are all expressive without being dreadfully bland archetypes. Interaction between the characters is very pronounced. There's comedy and seriousness in their rightful places, so there's no mood killing.
A wild ride from start to finish, each episode keeps amping up the experience by making use of the neato MMO concepts and great characterization that stands above other MMO anime.
Solid 9/10 overall from me. Probably

This is a paragon example of a great concept with amazing execution. It may seem like a generic ecchi anime on the surface, but it quickly evolves into a deep and thrilling story-driven work of art.
Story:10 The story itself is one of the best of all time, it manages to use elements from both Catholic and Demonic mythologies to create an action-packed fight for power. But action isn't all this anime has to offer, the story focuses more-so on the characters' own development as individuals and how the different characters try to initiate and prevent the overtaking of hell. I thoroughly enjoyed this anime, despite having a couple downfalls, it brought fourth an amazing concept throughout the season, keeping me thrilled.
The biggest downfall I think would have to be the ending, the story just feels unfinished since the main objectives which were originally discussed were not achieved. I think the thing that kept me watching throughout this anime was how the story seemed to flow together, introducing new twists and curves and having the characters overcome and progress from them. The general quality of this anime stays high throughout the entire season, which is a big thing to me because I watched this anime ... |
