i'd say i'm a very emotional person, and watching such a tragic yet beautiful take on the classic forbidden love troupe done so amazingly... i found myself sobbing at the end honestly. this series would be a 10/10 but i did find the animation and cgi to be a little choppy at time which would make more serious/ sad/ action packed scenes come off and a little goofy at times lol. for a 5 episode mini series, i would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful story, well written characters, a wonderful soundtrack, and a deeply tragic love story. flippin epic 8)

I will say, I got little goose pimples watching this anime. The way the character was rendered seems very professional, and the details on the model itself are very clear.

As for the song itself, it's beautifully written. Paired with the characters little dance, I think it has the capability to brighten up even the darkest of days.

The background was also very beautiful on it's own, with the blue and purple hues working together harmoniously. I don't know much about color theory, or the way color can affect ones mood, but just looking at everything together put big wet tears in my eyes.

I come back to ... this anime and rewatch it every so often. Truly a masterful work.

My only gripe is that there isn't much of a story going on from what I can understand through the visuals. Without subtitles, my incapability of understanding the Japanese language prevents me from experiencing this work to it's fullest.

I didn't plan on making a review for this but... the only other review under this title is absolutely wrecking this series lol.

I personally really enjoyed the art style, I thought it was something that I've never really seen before which is refreshing. It's nothing to write home about but it really wasn't god awful (there's definitely worse mainstream stuff out there...)

As far as the animation goes, I think most hentai have "poor" animation (from what I've seen, 9 times out of 10 you're going to get something with lazily repeating frames)

I think for what it is, it does what it was made to do ... lmao,,,
