Both try to bring meaning and heart to music. The two series mixes but humor and dark themes to bring forth something beautiful. In my opinion, Kono Oto Tomare! accomplishes this task a little better then Your Lie in April. However, I feel that both deserve a watch especially if you enjoy musical themed anime.

from what i have read, and what i have watched.. i know its based off euroge aka a dating game. so basically there is one main guy who gets to try and see how things would be with each different girl, thus like a dating game.

the plot is not at all the same. but it has the animation technique, and many facial expressions are similar.

both have to do with a girl working as a "maid" -same kind of ignorant main character guy -pretty girls -head strong main girl character -many other similarities.

If you liked Special A add

...then you might like Kaichou wa Maid-sama! add

both anime have a girl trying to overcome her "rival" and many other similarities. if you liked one, you will probably like the other.

If you liked Touch add

...then you might like Cross Game add

Has a very similar story line.
