Both anime potray an OP MC with OP subordinates, who are incredibly loyal. The MCs' actions have often unintended ramifications for the politics of the respective worlds. They are both skilled in magic, masquerade as adventurers, and have subordinates that go to extreme measures when dealing with "lowly humans."

How to Use a Returner

It is a recommendation to read "How to Use a Returner" (aka "Regressor Instruction Manual") if you enjoyed "My S-Class Hunters". Not the other way round. Both the MCs are weak physically but have raised/befriended some really powerful individuals. However, Lee Kiyoung in "How to Use a Returner" is a lot more cunning/manipulative/smart.

Descended from Divinity

While the two Manhwa have really different vibes and artstyles, there are a few similarities: - Both feature an MC who spent the past life/majority of the life so far getting stronger in the Murim world and has now reincarnated/transported to your typical medieval fantasy world - Both become nobles with strong subordinates - Both have loving parents / adoptive parents - Both are strong, but not the strongest in their worlds (yet, that is) - There are a lot of wars and sieges in both

The Ascendance of a Bookworm and I'll be a Matriarch in this Life are similar in that: - they both involve a isekaid / reincarnated female character (that's kinda obvious though and hardly says anything) - the MCs spend a long-long time as kids (far longer than most other isekai/otome isekai) - they bring ideas and insights for businesses - doting fathers - MCs are shrewd, no pushovers, and always seek to take the gain-maximizing choice - MCs have their eyes set on their missions: being a librarian for Myne and being the matriarch of the Lombardi family for Tia

FFF-Class Trashero

I never thought I would find a manhwa with an MC as trashy as Kang Han Soo from the FFF Class Trashhero. And just to clarify, I use the word "trashy" as a desirable trait to be found in the MC. Lee Kiyoung from the Regressor Instruction Manual is everything Kang Han Soo is - maybe even trashier. They are both manipulative; they view people as little more than tools; they do not hesitate to kill; they have systems that call them "trash". If you are a fan of either, I am sure you would enjoy the other.

(1) Loyal subordinates for the MC (2) Subordinates interpret even the smallest actions of their liege as moves in an intricate 10000-year plan (3) Incredible luck for the MC (4) MC not very morally upright - will adopt underhanded / evil ways for their success

Wakaokami wa Shougakusei! Movie

It is a difficult task to find something as fulfilling as to fill a void left by one of the best works of Miyazaki, Spirited Away, but luckily there does exist one such anime movie that is similar - and in some respects, better - than Spirited Away. Wakaokami wa Shougakusei, or Okko's Inn, is the closest you can get in terms of the overall environment and protagonist to Spirited Away. Both the movies have grade school to middle school girl protagonists who are struggling on their own without their parents' help. Both have the same kind of overall envelope of the environments with spirits. Both are set in a traditional Japanese inn setting. Both employ roughly the same kind of literary style and tone to tell the story. I guess one can't find a closer match. So do give them both a try.

"Recovery of an MMO Junkie" shares strong similarities with Wotakoi, especially in the main cast. Both of them have an otaku female character, who gets close to a male character of similar interests. The idea of love is lightly touched in each of the two - they are more focused on the otaku lifestyle and interests instead. So if you liked Wotakoi, chances are you'll like MMO Junkie as well.
