Sword Art Online - The series that had the potential, but just put it in the wrong place. As you can see, I did give this a rating of a 9/10, however, that rating only extends to 3/4 of the first season. After that, the series goes down a complete hole and utterly destroys itself.

With that said, I'll write my review based on only the first 3/4s of the first season. My rating for all episodes after that would be a 7.5/10.

The artwork is beautiful, the scenery is amazing, and the soundtrack is epic. Everything about this anime is exactly what a gamer would ... know and feel about. There are several epic moments in every episode that makes the view jump out of their seat and scream while rooting for the protagonist and the story fits everything perfectly.

The only slight problem with this anime is that it 'fast forwards' itself, having multiple time lapses of 1-2 months leaving the view confused about the story. That doesn't bring the rating down as everything else is nearly perfect but the developers could have made each episode much more thorough and well made.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking to watch an 'Epic' anime similar to that of Code Geass, Death Note, Mirai Nikki, Steins;Gate, etc.

I do warn you though that near the end of the first season, everything goes haywire and the series won't much enjoyable by then as the story gets confusing. 9/10

Gosick fits the genre it's in by being exactly that, mystery. The story is indeed amazing as there are really no 'filler' episodes in this anime filled with complete BS that have nothing to do with building the actual plot. Each episode gives insight to character developments, relationships, romance, and story.

This series was simply great in almost every aspect, however, I did notice it lacked severely in one thing - Epic Moments. Scenes that would blow a viewer off their couch, make them scream and yell, or give them a laugh. It lacked everything in that which is why I could not give it more ... than an 8/10. Epic moments in Sword Art Online, Death Note, Code Geass; scenes that would just make you say 'wow' was all lacking.

Overall, I would recommend this to anyone simply looking to watch an anime series and is looking for a mixture of romance and mystery. 8/10

I'm not sure why this Anime series is classified as "psychological' as the series "Mirai Nikki" was the definition of that term; this series is NOTHING like it. It is more drama and thriller with the overall theme being dark.

When I first heard all about the rage on this anime, I quickly jumped in with my expectations high because of users, friends, and posts rating it an outstanding 10/10 or 9/10. I do not watch Magical Girls at all which could be the reason why I lost interest in the first few episodes as there was nothing to enjoy about it but I continued onto ... the very end. The series did pick up for me and I began to gain interest again by episode 12 but as you can see, if an anime takes that long to draw it's user in, it's not something to boast about.

Originally, I was going to give this anime a 5 or 6 on the rating scale, however, later in the episodes a huge twist comes which really improved the score on the anime.

I would recommend this to other users who are into the 'Magical Girl' mixed with dark themes kind of genre but not to users who are looking for a good series. 7/10
