Finally, a novel without indecent characters, betrayal and all that bad stuff.

It's in my top 3 because the romantic couple is already well defined, which makes sense, since the protagonist is determined and focused on her goal. This makes the anime excellent for me. Her romantic partner ... (whose name I won't mention) also plays an important role in the story, which makes it very interesting.
I like the way the heroine is being portrayed in both the manga and the anime.

Scenery, music and setting: I really like anime set in Otome games and royalty. If you like it too, don't waste time, watch it! I find the drawings very beautiful, and one feature that caught my eye is the bright colors. An anime drawn in this way and with eye-catching colors doesn't become boring to watch.

Expectations: I hope they don't change too much from the manga, but that they add a detail or two so that we can find out more about the villain and heroine's plot.

Indecision, conflict and irritability best define her, but there are moments of cuteness and compassion (but these don't have a great impact precisely because of the girl's lack of a clear personality).

Yes, I'm giving this a very low score.
The reason is, the girl has no personality, and plays with other people's feelings for her own sake, justifying herself as if she were right about it. I understand the whole situation she's been through, but what she did to Sett was horrible.
Nevertheless, I honestly hoped for a Nina and Sett romance. But when Azule came back, she seemed to have forgotten everything she felt for Sett.
And now comes an interesting point, Azule seems to be the main one who will marry Nina in the next volumes (or at least everything is moving towards that) but what he did to her is inhuman. Abandoning her to follow Alisha's advice, leaving the one he loves (or thought he loved) was depressing. I remember that in the opening chapters, Azule notices the girl's blue eyes. Lacking confidence in Nina, he prefers to follow his own beliefs. A relationship without trust is enmity, I didn't like this couple at all.

I felt that, even though it was left out, the Nina and Sett story caused more emotion. The mark that Nina has because of the boy, all their conversations together and the fact that one NEVER shakes the other, no matter the context, is what I really see as LOVE. Sett had a great development, he shows affection in his own way, his personality hasn't been changed, only improved. I hope (without much hope) that the story turns around for both of them.

Oh this anime is so chill and nice to watch! I was searching for something like this!

I really enjoyed watching it, it's an anime that you pick up and don't finish until you've watched the whole season, it's so good!
What's more, as each episode has a story, you can break it up and watch it throughout the day

This anime is amazing! If you like great storys, with well developed hero's journey, and SPECIALLY BOOKS you probably is going to like Honzuki no Gekokujou.
I love books, so i just felt the heroine's pain when she saw herself in a place without books to read and talk about!
The animations are not the best of all, but this dosn't metter when you have a great story behind.
Each of the characters have a unique style, not only visual, but especially in the way they express and talk with others.
The protagonist is kind and fun, so you're not going to be tired watching ... it. I'm ansious to watch season 2, and hoping that animation will get a little better.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend this anime for one simple reason: the characters are very poorly constructed, the plot doesn't explore the hero's journey well and the romance is weak and confusing.
This anime had a good promise, with the heroine in a new world full of magic and challenges. The only problem is... the magic isn't explored, the challenges hardly appear, and the animation isn't the best.
The feelings of the characters aren't taken to heart, there's a lack of emotion and poetry for what each one is really feeling. I have the feeling that they wanted to cram the whole story into 12 episodes, ... and it was all very superfluous.
I also expected the heroine to have more personality.
The story of the heroine's father was handled well at the beginning of the plot, but in the middle to the end not so much (I can't comment too much so as not to give away spoilers).
