On the surface, it appears to be a seemingly simple, and rather cliched story about an ordinary girl falling in love with the popular guy. However, it quickly unfolds into a tale about love, death, what moves us and what doesn't.

It deals with a lot of themes, and it explores them wonderfully over the course of the main characters' journey from mere teenagers to adults. This is done through, a beautiful narrative, analogies, parallels and metaphors.

This manga is heavy on the dialogue, but you find yourself hooked from the first chapter itself. The art is absolutely amazing (as one would expect from Robiko- sensai) and the characters are given their time to develop. I admit, you will encounter some of the token cliched characters but they are done exceptionally well.

Another interesting aspect is the fact that the manga is very self-aware, to the point that I would call it Meta. The manga-ka often takes classic shoujo troops and turns them into hilarious banters between the two main character.

This is by far the most realistic slice of life manhwa (korean manga)/webtoon I have read. I like the character design, nothing is exaggerated. You have a fun time exploring the character, and as the heroin Hong Sul, gets to know other character, you feel that you too are getting familiar. The multiplicity of perspectives helps the story progress smoothly and keeps the plot interesting.

Moreober, the format is really interesting, the story alternates between the past and the present, giving you a better understanding of the situation. Though, I admit it takes time getting used to it. But the constant shift in the timeline is ...
