I'm glad that the Valkyrie Squadron are okay in the new timeline. I really didn't like Kallen because of her attitude throughout the entire series, but I find it hard to believe that an elite group of child soldiers wouldn't be well known among Britannia, so that moment of their deaths made me utterly hate Kallen. Now I can at least tolerate her in the new timeline. For Suzaku, though, I'm hoping the new writers will have the sense to have Gino bring him to justice and reveal that Monica and Dorothea were saved thanks to some kind of Deus Ex Machina or maybe have Gino, Nonette, and Anya resurrect them. Bismarck was in Charles's Ragnarok circle, so as moral and honorable as he canonically was, I won't cry over his death as much.
As you can see, Monica and Dorothea are my waifus thanks to how wasted their characters are. I find the Knights of the Round and Valkyrie Squadron much more interesting than any of the main characters, especially when you look at the rushed production history of season 2 when it was decided to not have a third season. Undoubtedly, the KotR and Valks would have gotten more prominent roles and we would have seen heir views on the war and what their government is doing.
Look up Monica Krushevsky, Gino Weinberg, Marika Soresi, Liliana Vergamon, Bismarck Waldstein, and Nonette Enaegramm and you'll be surprised how sympathetic they were. It's too bad the writers couldn't be bothered to look at their characters in the show itself. But Sunrise's Gundam schedule took priority over that.
Oh, and you won't find anything on Dorothea because she was created to replace Nonette who had died in the manga but had become a fan favorite in the game Lost Colors. But Dorothea's design really stands out among all of the other characters. Sunrise would be crazy to not capitalize on Monica and Dorothea in the new content.
