If you stumble at this review and thinking whether you should watch this anime or not, I hope my review will encourage you to watch this show. This review is also applicable to season 1 and 2.
Shakugan no Shana (SnS), its a pretty much old anime, from the first generation of romance action with tsundere heroine animes era along with Zero no Tsukaima. type of fight. However the selling point of this anime is not about the fight but the conflict between character and this is what SnS excel most. The character’s personality and character development is the true gem of SnS. As the character pass each hurdle, they grow and become stronger not only physically, but also mind which makes them more like able.
The male protagonist of this series at first seems like weak, beta, and annoying type. The heroine is also no better than some typical snob tsundere. However, as they fight their enemies, they become aware about each other and become closer. Shana know Yuuji desires to become strong and his kindness, Yuuji know Shana cute trait and decided to protect her and make her suffer no longer as flame haze. This is one important thing because, in most common anime, the male protagonist is always straight and if lost or wrong, it will get fixed immediately as the heroine comfort him. However, in this anime, it is not applicable as it become the obstacle itself for the heroine. Their clash of mind is not simple and you can't even know which one is right and which one is wrong. You can sympathize with the heroine (Shana), but you can not blame Yuuji for doing that. Basically, they do it for each other and it is what makes their conflict complicated and spice up the story. In the other hand, to fully understanding their action and reasons behind it, you need to put your place in their position, since it was not stated explicitly. For those who like to dig deeper, SnS is a good choice. In fact, story like this is my favorite because it gives lingering feeling after you finished watching it and not easily forgotten. SnS is one of the anime that actually have true ending and the ending is good, it has bitter sweet feeling and warms your hearts. I almost lost count how many times I opened episode 24 just to watch the last scene and smile while watching it. The songs is perfect, how the ending song makes transition at each of episode’s last scene is perfect. It blends perfectly and makes you excited. The composition is just perfect for the that kind of scene and genre. While SnS not shine brightly like other animes, it has its own charm. SnS may was prosecuted at the past time as generic romance action anime, but if you compare it to nowadays kind of romance anime, I will say that SnS excel them all. First, SnS have unique plot, second, SnS has true ending, third, it has deep and complicated plot that you hardly find in nowadays anime.
You may finish SnS and then watch another anime, but it may resurface in one of your free time and you think “Ah, I have watched a good anime back then. It was time well spent” You may forget it but you can not erase it as it becomes one of your good memories. If you want to have good memories and collection, SnS is your choice.

Before you read my review, I must inform you I already read the Light Novel version before the anime version out. However I will not tell you what is the difference like "Find the Differences" games nor tell you which one better. I will only use my knowledge from light novel to point out some thing that stands out but not all of it.
Story (9/10)

a heavy fans of Dynasty Warrior and Three Kingdoms series, so in my perspective, how the anime tells you the story and how they solved it is pretty realistic, sometimes it is not, but it is not always also. In short, the story gives you a good development that you may not expected.
Art (9/10)
The quality of the art is great, the color, the details, especially the main heroine is good. It is an eyes candy and makes you delighted. However the design of the troops and armies is on the other hand bad. I know that in an army you need to use an armor and of course except you are a higher ups, you will wear an armor that match each other, however it is just too same and looks like it was copy pasted. However, since the troops and army rarely be shown and just some minor background object, it will not hurt much.
Sound (10/10)
When I hear the OP song for the first time, its already makes me addicted and keeps me to replay its TV size one. The ED song also good and give you a relaxed feeling after watching a battlefield.
Character (10/10)
the character in this series is refreshing and unique. The tomboyish war maiden (Vanadis) that somehow more dominant. The main hero that still green and trying to become better give a good development, you may see the character is not always goody two shoes and resolve everything just by nice words, sometimes they also take action and makes them a decent character.
Enjoyment (8/10)
I enjoy this series but not enjoyed it to the maximum. Its a story that makes me watch it until the very end. It may not be the best but it gives you a quality time.
Overall (8/10)
In short, this anime is a good anime and will not make you regret watching it. The character design and personality is good not to mention there is also a good plot to accompany it. Nice OP and Ed song and story telling gives you a feeling how a war is even though you did not go into it.

On the first look this maybe just a typical harem anime which involves dense male main character, however Sakurasou Pet na Kanojo brings definition of harem to another level.
Story: 10/10 (Magnificent)
I put 10/10 for the story because it has a very deep meaning and morale for the watcher. The Opening and Ending for 1st and 2nd season is good and vibes off a enjoyable atmosphere

There are no background character in Sakurasou, you may think they are just typical classmate or something but they will undergo a development like other main character. And how the author describe every character is just too perfect and makes no character disposed in ravages of time.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Believe or not I already watch Sakurasou for 3-4 times already, there are some heartwarming scene and the story is just too fabulous. I find myself still enjoy it even though I have already know the plot. This is a fine example of good plot combined with good character
Overall: 10/10
This anime is beyond stereotype harem genre. Anyone who watch this should be prepared for amazing event and prepare a lot of snacks because maybe you will find yourself watch the entire 24 episodes in 1 day. Enjoy~

This review consist of Story, Character development and Character Design since it is only some sequel and not the end of story. Therefore I write it based only what I know from this anime, not overall knowledge from LN or Manga
Character Design: 9/10
I put high score because, the art is good and enjoyable. The detail of sound and art is good. It is suitable for battle anime like this since, it vibes off strong impression.
Character Development: 7/10
The reason it is pretty low because somehow, each character does not progress step by step, instead somehow they suddenly become smart or brave without proper reason. And somehow

the villain also does not give strong impression about why they do that. However, it still acceptable therefore I put 7 out of 10
Story: 8/10
If you ever watch To Aru Majutsu no Index before, there will be some episode that you probably want to skip since it is a repeat, however there maybe some minor detail that is re-explained in different angle. Overall, the story is good and interesting, but then there are some episodes that I find it boring and not very enjoyable. Though the last episode is thrilling and good.
The be simple, it is a pretty good anime. If you have watch To Aru Majutsu no Index you may find yourself want to skip some episode. But at episode 20++ I suggest you did not do that since it is a crucial part. Hope you enjoy

Story 8/10
This anime is maybe just a typical everyday harem anime, but is that all? NO! This is pretty interesting since a hero and heroine are not "an idiot who have love in their brain". This makes them unique from everyday male harem protagonist. He still have delicate side to girls but not much, but what makes this anime 7/10 is even though the story have a good development is there's many mysterious thing that unsettled, such as Masuzu past, maybe it wasn't worth attention much if we can just guess by ourselves but for some people (including me) it bugs me..

style, and nice artwork. All of this makes this anime eye comfort and unique. There are not much anime which have this kind of style

This anime is enjoyable, Eita 2nd grade syndrome and many inside jokes is refreshing and funny making this anime enjoyable and worth watch

This anime is recommended for whom like school life romance and comedy, furthermore you won't regret ever watch this anime :)

This story is pretty good. The story is great and the plot is interisting. It give you an understanding reason why would the boy choose that girl, and some logical reason. The main problem also realistic and exciting, making you want to watch what is gonna happen at the next episode. Theres one flaw in this anime, the ending, eventough it was a happy ending for me it can't maintain all the effort and excitement from the beggining. It is a good ending but just lack some *ba dump* moment so it makes you kinda disapointed. But overall this anime is worth to watch

Let me tell you 2 thing
first, sorry for my bad english
second before you watch this anime. You guys better prepare a decent of tissues so you can wipe your tear from watching this anime!
I'm not a sensitive person when it comes to drama but this is the first time I watch anime and I cried... This anime is very recommended for guys who want to watch more than just a romance comedy and who wants to learn about love and memories.
Maybe you guys will confused at the beginning since this story have 2 main protagonist and extra 1 but not very exclusive one, but

as you guys keep watching it you will know and become use to it.
