Why is this season so underrated? I find this season tremendously better than the first season. The OP is better, the plot is smarter and the character developments are better yet the score is only 7.24? (by the time I was writing this review)
While first season is rated almost 8, it felt like a bland filler. Although it succeeded in making funny jokes and peaceful slice of life, I feel that season 2 has portrayed this much better. I never laughed so much (especially the movie making arc) that it made season 1 felt like nothing in comparison.
Ok enough comparison, so why does season 2
...
has lower score? If you say it is because of the endless eight arc then I completely disagree with you. Endless eight is my favourite arc and I watched every single episode of it. I believe that the purpose of this arc is to let the watchers experience the loop that Yuki, Nagato has been through for 595 years so that we can relate and connect more with her as she clearly has the least screen time and dialogues out of all the main characters.
Yea yea but I understand that eight times may be too much, and they were almost all the same as if it was copy and pasted with different clothing. I agree that watching the same thing over and over again for over 2 and a half hours can be very irritating especially those who watched this when it was airing, hoping for some new stuff to happen weeks after weeks.
BUT, idfc about it at all and I did not find it boring at all. You know why? Because there is another thing that doesn't repeat apart from the clothing. IT'S "Kyon-kun denwa!" OMGFGGGGG I didn't care about whether the next episode will repeat or not at all, I was just looking forward to seeing how Kyon's sister will say "Kyon-kun denwa!" in the next episode.
Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene endless eight would have been quite boring. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene this show wouldn't have been funny. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene this wouldn't be one of my favourite show. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene I wouldn't have watched this show's hent. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene I would have dropped this show. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene I would have had depression. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene I wouldn't have liked lolis. Yep yep if it wasn't for "Kyon-kun denwa!" scene this show wouldn't have existed.
Haha that is my endless eight.

I have never seen a show this underrated before. Not only because of the gay score of 6.72 but also its unpopularity with just almost 19k users who completed the show. This show is basically the meaning of a "hidden gem", I would never have found this masterpiece even by sorting top anime by score rating or popularity if it wasn't for that loli moments video I found on youtube.
This show overwhelmed me several times. I expected a big mature man at the meeting place but it turns out to be 3 kawaii lolis instead, I expected Kiriyume to be a normal woman but she
...
turns out to be a loli instead, I expected this show to have 1 loli but I got a loli harem with 5 lolis in it instead.
(OMG that's so rare, normally a loli show is already rare enough [which contains like only 1 loli character] But this show has 5 lolis! 5x enjoyment; buy 1 get 4 free). Moreover, this show has a reasonable amount of loli fanservice scenes and each of them is very HD quality.
Story 10/10:
I don't see a reason to hate this show, even if the watcher is not a lolicon. The plot is very unique and I enjoyed the story itself excluding the lolis.
Art 10/10:
All lolis character designs are very kawaii and HD as expected from a studio experienced in making quality loli shows.
Sound 11/10:
Needless to say, the sound is the main focal point of the show. I never skipped the OP and the EDs, the OSTs are also very good, I remember imagining this moment when I write about how good the sounds are when I certain OST came in the background during the show. But most of all, I like the band's song especially the SAY HOWLING! song, the climax is very catchy, in fact, I'm still hearing it right now while writing this review.
Character 10/10:
Every loli has their own personality especially the main 3 lolis, the shy and clumsy one, the brave but sleepy one, and the tsundere and mature one. They are all very unique which altogether makes the show very interesting when the MC takes different loli routes experiencing a different mood from the other ones which are pretty amazing for the writer to be able to create up to 5 unique loli characters as they may be hard to make, right? (Shakugan no Shana, Hidan no Aria and Toradora all have the same loli personality) Which may also explain why there are not many loli harem shows.
Enjoyment 10/10:
I really enjoyed the show and I'm very sad that the journey has ended so quickly without any sequels or even OVAs to follow up. That last recap scene at the end was very nostalgic and tragic, they don't have the Sora god special moment at the end of the show too. Very sad to see the show left me so suddenly.
Overall 10/10:
This show and Ryuuou no Oshigoto! makes me want to watch other loli shows by this studio as well and of course, I'm also looking forward to the ((hent of this show.

While watching Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! I keep thinking to myself "why is this show so long?". Each episode seemed like an hour to finish and drains my stamina greatly that I had to walk around and take in some fresh air for a while before starting the next episode. This is the main reason why I dropped this show when I was new to anime, I got up to 6th episode and I realised that the show was just an everyday life of an MC dealing with a Chuuni girl.
And then I have returned to this show as a more pro
...
anime watcher. I planned to start from where I left it and I barely remember what the show was about but luckily, I was a foolish greedy young man and I decided to put Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! as "completed" in MAL instead of "dropped" at 6th episode. Therefore, I continued at episode 10 and overwhelmed with the major spoilers that got me completely off guard so I decided to restart it all again from episode 1 which was the right decision otherwise I would have given it a 7/10.
No wonder the show is highly rated, after episode 6, the show started getting more juicy and climaxed when the romance comes in. I have not seen any romance shows for quite a while now but I have not seen a romance show with such cute couples since plastic memories which was even longer. I really felt nostalgic and happy to see such romance again so it was really worth to rewatch all the episodes that built up their relationship to this.
Story 10/10:
The story is very unique, it felt very peaceful and heart-warming overall. The drama was also very reasonable and intense.
Art 10/10:
As expected from Kyoto Animation.
Sound 9/10:
The OSTs are alright. The OP is very good and the ED is mediocre.
Character 10/10:
The characters in this show are the main factor of enjoyment in this show. All of the characters each have their own unique "character" that identifies them and it was really well made their expressions, their personalities were really unique and cool in their own ways.
Enjoyment 10/10:
I really enjoyed the show, I have not experience this level of peacefulness for a while now. It was really a heart-warming show and I am glad that I came back to this show again.
Overall 10/10:
I feel really great about this show right now but I somehow feel that the feeling will soon fade and my rating for this show will drop soon but I will try to grab on to this feeling as long as possible anyways. Thank you for reading

I really like this type of anime, an action romance anime with an op loli MC accompanied by a pro male MC. Unfortunately, there are only a few anime like this such as Black bullet, Shakugan no Shana and Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai (that is all I can think of) yea there are not that many so Hidan no Aria is probably the last one of this genre for me.
Although it may be the last but it is also one of the best, it was a very thrilling ride from the beginning towards the end not the actions though, the loli. Aria is such a
...
kawaii tsundere loli but most of all, she is the sexiest loli I have ever seen, I get to see her "reveal" a couple of times and I was like "I lost" and I turned to hysteria mode then I imagine stuff with 30 times more brain cells than average person.
Story 9/10:
Very fun story, the "hysteria mode" thing was pretty unique. Although those big oppai people keep stealing the Kinji and Aria scene screen time but Kinji seems to like Aria the most anyways so the story progresses at an acceptable pace unlike that gay Sakai Yuuji from Shakugan no Shana which took 3 seasons 72 episodes to get to see that one scene.
Art 10/10:
Beautiful character design and scenery as expected from J.C. staff. No flaws.
Sound 10/10:
*Listens to OP* - what a trash song, so ugly choir.
*Listens to ED* - yea as trash as the openni- wait a second. *looks at the ending's visual* - OHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Yea the songs are trash but I add the ending to my favourite playlist anyways, when the song plays I see the Aria image in my head and that's the beauty of this song 10/10.
Character 10/10:
Aria's existence
Enjoyment 10/10:
I really enjoyed the show. I want to rub Aria's belly.
Overall 10/10:
I'm very sad that this show may be the last I will see of this kind of anime. I like it even more than slice of life and it would suck to only watch CGDCT without any boy MC in the show or those normal shows without any lolis in it so I will continue reading this manga to keep experiencing this pleasure.

Woah what a way to start a show, an unexpected continuation of the cliffhanger in season 2 which was going the right way that will give me the scenes I want to see but instead, it did not go that way nor the other way, it completely did a full 180 and went back to its gay path even deeper.
As if Yuuji alone wasn't bad enough, Yuuji combining with a demon lord level antagonist? (and wtf is that ugly appearance) Unbelievable, although the show makes Yuuji stronger and finally shows love back towards Shana like I wanted but this is definitely illegal, hurting Shana
...
to this extent is unacceptable. But still I remained patient and keep watching as I heard that there is a kiss scene to look forward to and then it came, and wtf was that kiss, Shana kissed Yuuji? In that form? Was that even a mouth to mouth kiss? I started to pity Shana for having to fall in love with this bitch. 5/10 done.
Hahaha but that was when I was into slightly over half of the show.
Yuuji's true intention is then revealed soon after and I understood a little more and when it was pointed out that Yuuji and Shana is fighting each other for each other I started to realize that Yuuji is improving and that Shana is actually a very strong loli indeed as I saw her still smiling during the fight and shows no sign anger at all after how badly she was treated multiple times. The new world project thing then completes and Yuuji 's reason to still hurt Shana is revealed through the last final battle, I was relieved, the feeling of irritation that has been built up for nearly 70 episodes gets washed away through Yuuji's redemption and I felt like a proud father who finally gets to witness my autistic ignorant son being a great man. After that, it only gets even better, the persistent Yoshida Kazumi third wheel finally fucks off and ends with that kissing scene omg... I really did not see that one coming, I the famous kissing scene was the other one so that really surprises me and it was so nice, it is the best kissing scene I have ever seen. I coudn't be more satisfied with that ending. 10/10. Best series I have ever seen very good character development not only Yuuji but Shana too.
From cold hearted Shana in episode 1 to tsundere Shana, "urusai! urusai! urusai!" and finally to kawaii forgiving Shana, "I love you more than anyone else!". Ahh, my heart is melting. Sad to know that this great journey has finally comes to an end, it was a great journey, there were times I suffered and cried but it was all worth it for this show overall.
Story 10/10:
The story is actually very good when viewed overall, makes sense and reasonable.
Art 10/10:
The art improved so much when compared with season 1 anyways it is all good for considering its age.
Sound 10/10:
The OPs and EDs of this season are my favourite anime songs now.
Character 10/10:
The character development was huge, great improvement.
Enjoyment 10/10:
I really enjoyed the show it still makes me happy right now.
Overall 10/10:
I recommend this to everyone even if they don't like lolis, they can watch it for the action and romance.

Now this is what I was expecting in the Shakugan no Shana series, some peaceful and relaxing filler episodes to give breaks from the heavy contents. I feel like there are too much going on in the series, when a problem is solved another problem is presented again and it makes me feel tired.
This OVA is like a fresh air, it gives me an entirely different feeling of the show. I have never liked OVAs, I only see them as another episode of an anime and did not feel that it is more special than other episodes either however, this is OVA is different,
...
it is indescribably heart warming and it made me think "wow... they both had times like this as well apart from fighting all the time" and how they can live like a human too.
Reshuffle:
This was a really funny one as it is what the series should be, Sakai Yuuji acting more manly and physically stronger and Shana being more sensitive and soft. It was very nice to see how this anime has the potential to create much better character personalities.
Domicile:
This one shows how Shana grows and adapts to the environment, she becomes more human and less flame haze. It also shows Wilhelmina and Shana's care for each other. Another heartwarming episode indeed.
Overture:
This episode is the best one it is like a prequel to the story and it shows hints of Shana's sensitive side of having feelings as well. It is actually quite sad, it teaches me about the memories we share with someone important are very precious and not being able to forgive someone can be really painful.
Overall, this is the best OVA I have ever seen and it is definitely better than the whole Shakugan no Shana series. This taught me the importance of filler arcs and chill everyday life episodes and yeah, it makes me think that Shana had a nice backstory before coming to this cursed town filled with problems to confront with everyday too. She really shouldn't have came here.
Oh yea the sounds are also very good too.

When I finished this I lazy and decided not to review this and continued to season 3 right away since the cliffhanger ending was quite interesting and I wanted to see the happy episode where I can finally relax and watch Shana and Yuuji dating and hanging around. But I saw season 3's first episode. Ahhhh, I wish I hadn't seen that episode, Yuuji has evolved again and I thought he couldn't be any worse than what he had been but now omg I can't describe this, this level is beyond words. I should have known that this was coming anyways, the way Yuuji
...
is introduced, it was kinda fishy and abnormal as if it was purposefully made to be hated and now that he is the antagonist it explains all.
Anyways, Shakugan no Shana II started off with Yuuji revealing that he did not hear Shana's confession at the end of first season, it was a powerful start to the series but I did not lose hope knowing that the series is long so she has the chance to do that later and then somewhere around episode 12 her confession gets disturbed again. As I continued I noticed how Yuuji's behavior did not change at all and constantly gets saved by Shana and did nothing in return although he got stronger and able to spar with Shana during training but that is only during TRAINING. When confronted with enemies trying to steal his reiji maigo he only stood still and shouted waiting for someone to come and help him and that was when I finally realize why I could watch this series continuously without running out of stamina, at first I thought I was addicted to this series and that I wanted to see Shana in action but now I understand that it is more than that, the main reason was because I wanted to see Yuuji redeem himself and realize what kind of person he is already. I wanted to see him protecting Shana in return or do something for her in return but then Yoshida joining the party made the situation even worse, he could barely handle Shana alone and now Yoshida takes up her screen time even more and I was starting to lose hope in this boy.
Suddenly, Yuuji finally rose in like the last few episodes and saying great edgy things making Shana proud and finally ends with a happy cliffhanger. My overall score from 7/10 rose to 9/10 immediately just from those few episodes which made me feel relaxed knowing that the continuous fighting/uprising of problems is finally ending and I can calmly enjoy the peaceful episodes that will be presented to me in the third season.
I really wanted to put this series into my favorite list but it did not reach that level yet, season 2 was close but there were too many disappointing episodes than the good episodes. I really hope that season 3 can make it and that first episode is just something irrelevant to the main story.

I found Acchi Kocchi from a youtube moment video and it was pretty interesting so I added it to my watching list to watch it soon later but then I had forgotten all about it the next day. I then decided to watch other anime instead since I judge anime from its cover and Acchi Kocchi's cover did not look appealing to me. After a long time, I finally finished it and I really regretted it. I regretted that I could have watched it in my laptop at home all in one go instead of watching it in my phone and having to stop between
...
each episode everytime I reached my destination.
I can understand why this is so underrated. When you think of the word "loli" in anime the picture that comes to your mind would be a cute little girl doing cute things that would make you go "awww kawaii!" which supports the fanservice side of an anime. However, "loli" in this anime is different, it is given a highschool romance anime heroine's traits such as tsundere, emotionlessness, romantic feelings, etc. This anime is about a loli, Tsumiki Miniwa, trying to confess her romantic feelings to the MC which makes it different from Gochiusa and Yuru Yuri, basically, it will make you go "awww so sweet" instead of "awww so cute"(seriously though, they would make a very sweet couple). This is also different from Spice and wolf and Toradora too because it doesn't have much story, it is more like an everyday life of what happens at Nekoge senior highschool. This is why the rating is less than what it deserves to get in my opinion, it is like you either hate it or love it. You watch solely for the highschool romance loli version and not for the story or CGDCT.
Story : 9/10
Not much story but I enjoyed this even more than animes with good plots.
Art : 10/10
The art overall has no flaws and the character design of Tsumiki is the best looking character I've ever seen.
Sound : 9/10
The osts are normal, the ed is normal and the op is normal but it is so catchy and it is still in my head every second. Nyahoi!
Character : 10/10
Tsumiki Miniwa.
Enjoyment : 10/10
I really enjoyed the show and it made me smile all the way through, it was the smile made by comedy, sweetness and cuteness of Tsumiki.
Overall 10/10:
Tsumiki is the best loli I have ever seen and I think Agent_Redacted will like her too so I highly recommend this to him as well. Alright, if this review gets less than 4 upvotes I will read Tsumiki hentai. Hehehe.

Alright, so I went on a trip and I had no mobile data or any wifi so I had to download some anime to watch during the 11 hours of sitting in a bus. Surprisingly, the wifi was so trash that I could only download 1 tv series and that show is Kotoura-san which has been in my watching list quite a while now. This means that I would need to finish the whole show even if I did not enjoy it as I did not have any other shows the watch instead so it was natural to expect high and hope it would entertain
...
me throughout the 11 hours journey since it was my only source of entertainment.
Unfortunately the show did not met my expectations but it still was a decent show overall. Kotoura-san gave me a very interesting impression of the first three episodes, it introduced the plot and characters very uniquely and showed me the perspective of how special abilities can hurt people and can be seen negatively, different from special abilities from most isekai and shounen genre and I really got hooked up. However, episode 4 was something completely different. The events that happenned in episode 4 happens so quickly and continuously that it felt very rushed, the MC went missing then gets found and everything is back to normal again. At first I thought it would be a big important arc but it felt only like a filler episode, in fact, episode 5 and onwards were also all filler episodes. Although I understand that the filler episodes makes us feel the bonds of the characters' relationship stronger but there were too much that it wasn't necessary to have all of them and believe it or not, I didn't watched episode 8 due to download failure and I still understood the whole story without even recognising that I missed a whole episode since it was so unimportant.
The drama tag was also pretty odd too. I was expecting that the bonds that has built up gradually through these filler episodes will make a huge impact on the audiences and make them cry when a main character dies but it never happened and when the anime ends I was like "wait wat, did the sad part already happened?" but I was wrong. There is no tragic moment in this anime.
Having said all that, you may be thinking why I still rate this a decent score after all that. It is because this is a decent show, I laughed and I enjoyed it overall even with all these flaws.
Story : 7/10
Overall decent story although it could have been much better.
Art : 7/10
Normal, simple, common visuals. Nothing special, nothing ugly.
Sound : 8/10
The op and osts are normal and the ed is quite nice, it somehow reminds me of anohana ed.
Character : 7/10
Each character has their own characteristics but I did not like the characters that much
Enjoyment : 7/10
The jokes are funny and made me laugh sometimes. I see this as an everyday life of Kotoura-san slice of life genre rather than serious drama.
Overall : 7/10
I enjoyed this show overall. I recommend this if you are tired from watching anime that takes up a lot of brain cells and need some lighter ones.

I swear 2 days ago the rating of this anime was 7.66 and I know it because I was comparing it to Girls & Panzer's rating which was 7.63 so I was thinking something like "ooh this anime is slightly better than Girls & Panzer huh". The next day I checked it again and it was 7.33. Anyways, since this anime is now underrated, I will need to release my feelings that are about to burst here as this is the most thrilling and intense anime I've ever seen in my life.
Story: 9/10:
The story overall is very thrilling and exciting, I was overwhelmed by every
...
episode including the filler episodes as well, the backstory behind the anime is also well explained and I like how they chose to use a realistic method to infect the crew in the ship instead of using supernatural method also makes the show feel more real although the action and strategies parts are the parts I enjoyed most in the show.
Art: 10/10
The art is also very good, there may be some tiny minor CGs that I spotted but I did not care anyways. The environment, the sea, the ship, the characters and most importantly, the battle were so beautiful and perfectly done. The sea's animation is stable, the ship moves realistically, the characters' visual are good and the camera angles during the battle switches between both side's perspective so clearly that it makes me feel that I'm in the battle with them.
Sound: 10/10
Tbh, I actually started watching this anime because I thought the op is the Kantai Collection's one and I liked it very much but when I heard high school fleet's op for the first time in 2nd episode I was blown away as I had low expectation for it since it wasn't the op I was expecting to hear but somehow it is even better than the Kantai Collection's op ( the climax is so gooooood). The soundtracks are also very suitable during the fight and the last episode's sound was indescribable.
Character: 10/10
I did not find any waifu here but I just want to say that there are so many characters in the show with each one having different unique personalities which seems quite hard to control all those character so perfectly. The characters all have a reasonable amount of screen time and their strong relationship and bonds makes the filler episodes are fun to watch.
Enjoyment: 10/10
I really enjoyed the anime and it was a thrilling ride for me and my kokoro was beating fast, I was completely into the show.
Overall: 10/10
This is the best action anime I've ever watched so far and everything about it is very good, it even makes me want to read the Haifuri manga to know what happens next but I can't seem to find a manga website that has this manga in it. If you do know a website please tell me. Thank you for reading my review.
