Tomoe ga Yuku!

Both series are written by Tamura Yumi so the artwork and storytelling styles are extremely similar. Since Basara is longer, it is admittedly more developed with a much more complex story line, but Tomoe definitely still holds its own. It has plenty of the trademark strong characters, action, suspense, and depth of a great Tamura Yumi work. Both series are strongly recommended!

Both these series are written by the same author, and although Venus Capriccio is much more fleshed out due to its longer length, they both still have a similar style. Try them both!

Although Haikara-san is lighter in feeling overall, they both deal with similar themes and weave tales of enormous growth of character through tragedy. They also have a similar artwork style for those who appreciate the older look. I would definitely give both a try!

Although I think the plot lines of TCP and Oresama Teacher are not all that similar, what reminds me of the other respective series when I read either of them is their amazing senses of humor. Both are quite hilarious and in somewhat the same ways. In addition, I suppose they both have the yakuza/yankee/fighting thing in common as well, too, so if you liked either series, you should give the other a try!
