Is this the best romance manga I've ever read? Probably not. BUT this manga was a good short and fun read, it had some nice / cute romance scenes and a tiny sprinkle of miscommunication between the FL and ML. It does follow a pretty generic pattern storyline though. I would recommend this if you want to have a short break in-between romance / slice of life manga or manhwa that has a bit heavier feel or you get to know a lot about the characters past.
The art is different than general romance mangas, it still looks well drawn and is nice to look
...
at. The characters give a cute feeling.
Overall I would give this a 6/10, nothing too special but still a nice read.

First of all I want to say that this review contains spoilers.
TL;DR: If you want to read a manhwa for good looking guys / nice drawings but a disappointing story, this is for you.
I had high hopes for this, I love manga / manwha that is well drawn because this adds to the story. In the beginning this story was very interesting and fun, it had some cool aspects to the story with love points and the female lead (FL) being stuck in a problem where she had no love points. The plot of the story was how to solve this and what she
...
should do.
The first season (S1) is about 95 chapters and it's basically a love triangle where there are two male leads (ML). The plot advances pretty slowly but nicely, there is a good development and the FL ends up with one of the ML.
But halfway thru S1 we start to lose some of the aspects introduced in the very beginning. S1 ends with the FL and ML being a couple and I think we all were excited for S2. But then in S2 everything becomes weird and the initial plot fails. We get a time skip which feels very weird and there is no real explanation to it. Maybe the author has some idea behind it but the time skip is 10 years(!) which is a huge amount of time. The characters are now 28 and the ML that the FL ended up with in S1 is in no contact with the FL. Everyone seems to lost contact and it just feels a bit disappointing since the manhwa completely lost its' initial story. And don't get me wrong, in S1 there were several GOOD plot ideas and even interesting ideas which would be fun to explore them further. But they all just fall flat in S2.
Furthermore in S2 there are several points which seem confusing and hard to follow, even though I read the end of S1 and all of S2 in one go.
I feel like this manhwa is unfortunately one of those manwhas that you read for the good looking characters and nothing more. I'm really sad that I have to leave this review on this manhwa, I had high hopes for it in S1.
Thanks for reading this!

I know that there are reviews of this webtoon already but I had to add mine to the bunch because of the quality of this story. Initially I wanted to score this a 9 but after some careful thinking, I will score it a 10.
This webtoon is truly one of the most realistic slice-of-life / romance stories I've read, ever and that says quite a lot since I've been reading that genre for the past 10 years. It truly highlights the struggle of balancing your university life with your personal life and finding your true love. This story is a hidden gem.
Characters:
...
There are quite a lot of characters but they all stand out in their own way, with either their personalities or backstories (or both). I find the FL very interesting and cute, she is so well written in my opinion. She isn't annoying in any way but truly a likeable and relatable character. Same goes for the ML. They have a great and healthy dynamic with an open communication. Which leads to a story more focused on the plot rather than having angst and miss-communication between the FL and ML as a key point. The supporting characters are also very well made and they balance out the story which gives it more depth. I also love how the FL evolves through the story.
Story / Art : A good slife-of-life story, many of the characters have relatable problems (first and foremost in romance, but also in other subjects). The pacing is good and there isn't rushed moments. The comedy in this story is so good too. Some panels are so funny I had to screenshot them and save them, either because they are SUPER relatable or just so funny that I will end up using them for a meme. As for the art, this isn't the typical art style I go for but it grew on me and I got quite fond of it. Don't let the art style stop you from reading something as good as this!
I recommend this story to anyone, no matter if this is your first, second or your 100th time reading a romance / slife-of-life story. I will say it again, It is a HIDDEN GEM amongst the romance genre. I hope this webtoon will get more attention soon. I you want to read more by the same author she is currently publishing "No Office Romance!"
Side note: there is a Japanese movie that is based on Romance 101. But I would recommend reading the webtoon first :)

I was, as usual googling for new webtoons to read. I do like to read stuff that is completed since I tend to binge-read.. The art style is not the usual I would go for, but the main character Gaeun is refreshing since she is very straightforward and not your typical shy girl.
The plot is simple, it is romance after all but in a university setting. I did enjoy the characters though, they all come from different backgrounds and have had different experiences during life. You also get to know the backstory of several characters which give them a bit of depth.
I would
...
recommend this webtoon to anyone that wants to read a university centred romance. It's not amazing, but it's definitely a good one and worth reading.

The overall story is very cliche with a reincarnated protagonist. In his previous life he was a nobody, got banished from his clan. In his new life, the main character will do anything to avoid this. He will get some new kind of power. The main character is alright, he is strong and arrogant since he has knowledge from his previous life. The supporting characters are nice, nothing special to be honest.
Honestly, the whole story is very bland. I've read countless of these stories and this one is mid at best. Nothing new or original. If you have read "Solo Leveling" (the OG of
...
this type of story) or "Revenge of the Baskerville Bloodhound", this is almost identical. Save your time by reading something else!
This should be read only if
1) You haven't read a manhwa of this style (read Solo Leveling instead)
2) You have currently nothing to read / you're up to date with everything you're currently reading
3) You have read Solo Leveling and you're missing that kind of story but do not want to re-read Solo Leveling

I just finished reading this manga and saw it had no reviews, so I thought I would leave one for anyone that is thinking about reading it or just wants a second opinion.
STORY: The trope is pretty typical, school romance and first loves. In this manga we follow Andou, Urara which is a first year student (high school). One day she meets a guy that helps her out, which turns out to be Okinawa, Aiji. The story is quite different from other romance mangas I have read in terms of how it ends, who ends up with who and so on.. This made the story
...
stick out and quite interesting. Unfortunately I spoiled the ending to myself, I won't spoil it for you.
CHARACTERS: The characters differ from each other quite a bit, and you see a clear difference between the guys in the way they act. I feel like the male characters are quite refreshing (as refreshing they can be in this particular genre) and I was happy to see that new characters were introduced over time. Other than that, the characters don't really have much depth (as in other genres where they have long and big backstories to why they turned out a certain way).
ART: The art is just simply fantastic! I enjoyed every single page of it. Besides, there is some really funny and cute panels in it. I was smiling a lot when I read it.
Overall, this is a great light hearted romance manga with many cute moments. To people that like romance manga or are new to it and want to try something else, I highly recommend reading this one.
Story: 7/10

I usually google "best completed webtoons" when I finish reading a story / all of the manga or webtoons I read haven't updated. So yesterday when I was doing this, I found "Unholy Blood" and the writer of this recommendation thought it was a good story. Unholy Blood being a vampire webtoon, I can't lie I was a bit sceptic. But to my surprise I got more invested than I would like to admit. I binged the whole thing during one night. So here comes my review.
Unholy Blood is an action packed (with a side of romance) vampire story with a female badass main
...
character. In Unholy Blood we follow Hayan who is a college student and Euntae who is a police officer. They have a similar goal, to kill / capture all vampires in the world and make it the world it once was. With no curfews, no fear and no sirens that were warning people of the vampires.
The plot is similar to other action ones, we have a main character that wants revenge and will do anything in their will to get it. It was nothing extraordinary new but some moments / happenings were not foreseeable and came as a chock when reading this webtoon. That kept the plot interesting and really hooked me.
The characters were well designed and balanced. The main and most important supporting characters all have a backstory that will be shared with the reader. The backstories give the characters more depth and it is easier to understand their current actions. We also see some good progress in the female main character, she becomes really tough and cool. Another thing I really like about her is that she (unlike a lot of main characters) doesn't talk much during fights and actually cuts off other characters if they ramble too much during an action scene. The main characters are really easy to like.
Finally the art. I have to say that this is probably one of the best, if not the best drawn webtoon I've read. The art is vibrant and the action scenes are so well drawn and you can really see the characters "moving" when fighting. Each character stands out in their own way and have a fitting design to their "role" in the webtoon. I must say, I REALLY enjoyed the art.
Plot: 6/10
Characters: 8/10
Art: 10/10
Overall: 8/10
I highly recommend to read this webtoon. I had a fun time reading it.

I tell all of my friends to read Eleceed and I will say the same to you who are reading this review.
I stumbled upon Eleceed by chance when browsing new action webtoons online since I had just finished reading another story. When I started to read this webtoon it had about ~190 chapters published and I've been following it religiously every single week since then.
I will now write a bit about the webtoon but my tip is to not read too many reviews / spoilers about it as it is the most fun to just experience it first hand :)
It is a pretty common
...
action story, but it is written in such a way that drags you in and absorbs you in the Eleceed universe. It follows Jiwoo who is the protagonist, he is a kind, humble and down-to-earth guy. There is also a second main character called Kayden, who is trapped in a body of a cat. Kayden is the opposite of Jiwoo, he is sarcastic and a maniac when it comes to fighting / accepting challenges.
I previously read "Girls of the Wild's" which has the same artist (Kim Hye-Jin) and I really enjoyed the art. Eleceed is no different, the art is so nice. Every character has their own cool and unique design and the fighting scenes (especially in the later chapters) look so action packed, intense and cool. The drawings are colorful and easy to follow. Besides, some panels are so so funnily drawn. I have laughed countless of times when reading this webtoon.
The character design is really nice and you can see development as the serie progresses. Each and every character feels unique, fresh and I really enjoy the dynamic between Jiwoo and Kayden. Besides the supporting characters are really really well written, they are funny, fresh and fit well with the story. There are a lot of other characters too but they are reappearing and no character feels unnecessary.
To summarize, Eleceed is fantastic and it's been a long time since I've been so invested in an ongoing webtoon.
So stop reading this review and start reading Eleceed! (You won't regret it!!)
Thanks for reading this!

One of the better romance webtoons I've read. The story is interesting and doesn't feel over done.
There are some twists and misunderstandings in the story but nothing that is annoying or cringe to read. Besides, the characters have good development. The FL is really fun and a great character in my opinion. The first ML is also pretty relatable since he has some hardships of his own. The second ML is quite unusual in my opinion, since sometimes you like him and sometimes you really root for his success... It is not common for romance storys to have such even male leads, its
...
always that one is super bad and the other one is great.
The webtoon has a lot of funny parts as well, so it is enjoyable. I really enjoy the art too!
I feel like readers both new to the romance genre and old readers will enjoy this webtoon.

Enemies to lovers but also a fake dating trope. A grumpy ML and a sunshine FL and then he gets all kind and soft towards her. FL is older, ML is younger.
This review contains spoilers!
Season 1 was really good and I think that the webtoon should ended there. Some may argue that the actual enemies to lovers burn was a bit short... It really takes a couple of chapters before they end up fake dating.
Season 2 got all confusing and people from FLs past started to show up. Besides I feel like the FL takes away the voice from the ML when
...
he wants to protect her.
I feel like the character are nice, but they lack depth and they don't really evolve as the story goes on.
Besides that, the artstyle is nice but that's about it.
