[ STORY | 9 ]
I have yet to come across another manga with the same level of truthfulness and honesty as Kimi ni Todoke. This gem explores the lightness of a high school romance, as well as the problems that come with it.
Readers will definitely swoon and sigh with the characters as they go through the happiest years of their lives. There are times when the characters experience some small misunderstandings and go through some petty fights, but they were incredibly realistic and relatable as well.
Aside from that, we also see the struggles of graduating high school students as they begin to choose their career
...
paths. As I just graduated from high school last year, I found this aspect to be practical, and I related to the characters so much.
[ ART | 9 ]
The art really brings the characters to life. I love how there's a magical feeling in every scene, which is definitely perfect for the high school romance vibe.
The characters are also drawn exceptionally well, and it's easy to distinguish everyone from each other. Their chibi versions are adorable as heck.
[ CHARACTERS | 10 ]
I adored how each character has his/her own strong, unique personality. In particular, we have our main characters, Sawako and Kazehaya.
Sawako's sweet and charming, and it's so easy to relate to her insecurities and anxiety. Readers will want nothing more than to cheer her on!
Kazehaya, on the other hand, is preppy and outgoing. I love how realistically his character was portrayed as well--he's genuinely a nice person, but he knows his flaws and isn't afraid to show them.
[ ENJOYMENT | 8 ]
There were a few storylines I preferred more than others. Ryu and Chizuru's romancic subplot, in particular, was one I needed much more of. I adored Kazehaya and Sawako's innocent love story as well. I wish Ayane's story was less all-over-the-place, though.
[ OVERALL | 9 ]
I didn't feel like I read over a hundred chapters. Reading this manga was a breeze, and I absolutely loved every second of it. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a light story that still makes a lot of sense.

Since Mirai Nikki is the first anime I've watched from the thriller genre, I honestly didn't know what to expect. After watching the first episode, I was really creeped out, but each episode made me want to watch the next. Even if you don't normally go for dark-themed anime (like me), I would definitely suggest that you give this one a shot.
[Story: 9]
The story was good and the pacing was just right. There were some things that could've been explained better, but if you're not as observant as others, you'd hardly notice them. There was a lot of romance and definitely a good amount of
...
action. The first episode was really intense, but the badass ending really topped it.
[Art: 9]
I really liked the art and how all the characters looked (well, maybe Yuki's character is an exception--not really a fan of his character's physical appearance).
[Sound: 10]
You know how in horror films, the sound effects are sometimes scarier than the other scenes, or when they boost the scare-factor of the overall film? I think that's how it was with Mirai Nikki, for me.
[Characters: 7]
I would love to get into each character and what I love about them, but that might take some time. Generally, I loved all the characters (especially Yuno!) except for Yuki, our male lead. I guess you could say he's practically a male version of Bella Swan. (I'm not bashing Twilight--I actually like it--but we all know that Bella doesn't do anything to help.) Yuno, the female lead, is a character you could either love or hate. I definitely loved her. I thought her character was the best developed out of them all.
[Enjoyment: 10]
Like I said, each episode made me want to watch the next! Most of the time, when I watch anime, I end up getting bored as the series goes on... Mirai Nikki doesn't drag the plot around, every episode has a purpose, and every episode is thrilling.

Short/Mini Review
*Note: I have not read the manga.
Story [7]:
There were some holes in the plot here and there, but I thought the story was a little above fair at most. It was a cute plot, definitely meant to just make us smile.
Art [7]:
The art quality was good, nothing disturbing to see. I especially loved the appearance of the two main characters -- so kawaii!
...
Sound [5]:
There was hardly any background music, but it's a hardly noticeable flaw.
Characters [7]:
Since it's just a one-episode OVA, we can't really expect any character development. Both characters had cute personalities, but Uehara (the main guy)'s attitude kind of seemed inconsistent.
Enjoyment [7]:
I loved the cute-sy feeling of the overall episode. I smiled a lot throughout watching it.
Overall [7]:
If you're just looking for a short anime that will lift up your spirits, then you should give Good Morning Call a try.
