If you're looking for a wholesome anime that touches on the importance of family and non-incestual love, then this anime is for YOU.
Somali to Mori no Kamisama is an outstanding anime in terms of storytelling, character development, and is bound to make you shed a few tears.
The beauty of the art is highlighted in many scenes showcasing nature, which is quite frequent in this anime. Though the art is not as delicate and intricate as, for example, Violet Evergarden, its simplicity is a staple of its ingenuous nature.
The development of each character flows with the story beautifully; and defines the relationship between Mr. Golem and

Somali-chan. As the story progresses, we learn more about the characters and the reasonings behind their actions, further puLLING AT MY HEARTSTRINGS.
Listening to the opening of this anime was a simple reminder of its innocent essence. All in all, it was an utterly heartwarming anime that allows me to appreciate the "uwu-ist" of familial love and the circle of life.

Dororo is an amazing, action-packed anime that dwells into the sacrifices one must make to support others and the economy.
The story revolves around Hyakkimaru, the boy who had his limbs eaten by demons, and Dororo, the younger boy who stumbles upon Hyakkimaru by chance. Because of Hyakkimaru’s disabilities, Dororo tends to him and is shocked to see how well Hyakkimaru can fight. This, they accompany each other on their journey, both with their own goals. I think this anime did an excellent job of portraying the story through a variety of perspectives. The antagonist has reason to do what he did, so while watching I
...
felt conflicted about who’s side I should be taking. It was truly a thrill.
The art is illustrated wonderfully; the expressions are drawn to easily decipher the character’s emotions, which I found helpful. Though the animation did falter in a few episodes, I’m glad that the creators were able to get back on track and actually use their budget to good use. When taken together, I thought the art was great.
Dororo has an amazing soundtrack. The music adds to the atmosphere of the moment, further emphasizing what the viewer and the characters are feelings. It really conveys the historical era that this anime is set in, whist incorporating modern tracks through its opening, which I believe is one of the best openings this year. Partyyyy is overrrer~
The characters are developed well, however I believe that some could’ve been done better. Hyakkimaru’s development really did stand out amongst the others, as we the audience are watching as he undergoes significant changes. There to accompany him is Dororo, who is a major part in giving Hyakkimaru the motivation he needed.
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and would look forward to it every Saturday. It was brutal, yet heartwarming. My heart wrenched at some scenes as to how abrupt and grotesque they were portrayed. However, I appreciate how this anime doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It jumps right into the realities of what had to be done, aside from the demon part. Overall, I rate this anime a 9 :)

Okay, first thing's first, I love this manga.
Reasons why I like this manga:
It's full of heartwarming moments, along with tear jerking ones that just pull at your heart strings. The story is mysterious and it leaves you wondering countless things about what might happen. The art is spot on, I mean Hiro Mashima got all the curves right! Even if it is a bit ecchi. The characters are shown to have developed throughout the series, learning and mastering techniques and making new comrades. Each character is really unique and has a likeable trait about them, that anyone could relate to. I really enjoy

reading this manga and I hope that it continues longer. In addition, there are parts that have a mysterious vibe to it that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Some faults that I'd like to point out:
Throughout the series, I've noticed that many fights were won by Fairy Tail. I mean, I have no problem with this, really, but I feel like it would be more realistic if they lost to some fights and worked up their strength to defeat their opponents. Of course, the art is fantastic and I have no faults with that. (Like, nothing can go wrong with boobs and butts, right?) I personally think that there are too many characters in this manga, since it could have either a good impact on the storyline or a bad impact.
Overall, I really enjoyed this manga, and I'd rate it a 8.5/10
