Well, this is my review and i deem it to be as objective as possible, i know every spectator and reviewer of this anime mostly very satisfied of this anime and im like that too.
But some consider it to be so perfect and exaggerating it like doesnt have any minus at all, yes some already bored and suck with it seeing age of anime turned out to be fapper, maniac, lolicon as anime grow by flooding us with kawaai shoujo, loli, boobs, ass everywhere and im agree too. As shingeki no kyojin bring anime world different aura with tragedy, action oriented anime, but ... while its genre so fresh still it isnt perfect and many can be improved further, to review one anime from objective side, one must compare and inspect it in the same genre area, one anime cant be good simply because its "unique" genre among "mainstream" genre.
At first, as many of you can guess im sure, there are many many and many unexplained mysteries left behind. Since this series started with its first episodes until last episodes, question, mystery, my talking in my head grow like exponential curve and there is no explanation till the end. How the fuck is titan created? Who created titan? what for? how the hell are 3 walls created that protects mankind? how suddenly there are 3 walls while mankind under constant attack from the titan? where the hell is eren's father? after this 5 years whats he have been doing? and so much and many more.
Almost no possibilities for this anime to have its second season makes it worse and all question can be answered from its manga cant answer such damn thing because this is anime review not its manga review, therefore its different thing.
While its fulfilling the hunger of action-oriented spectator to their satisfaction, so much best graphic action scene, still it fails to cover overall storyplot become its very very major drawback thus fails to consolidate it into perfect anime.
Yes, it is too much action-oriented without good story cover.
Well next, i dont know if this is just me but i think i hate it where only half of the whole series truly gives us fighting-titan scene, where almost the other half contain internal-mankind fight.
Ok now at first its telling us "hey im action-oriented anime" and next it contains too much internal affair not the breathtaking and ejaculating fighting-titan scene. If im not mistaken, fighting-titan scene bombed at early several episodes and waning toward several last episodes, the only titan in several last episodes mostly just that female-form titan.
But, really, the most dissapointing point still its lack of story. Really it had twenty five full of episodes dude, you have so many tense and horrific action scene, so many review scene, but cant ended up with even slightest idea to cover many question spectator had in their head.
In the end, it results as a ridiculous ending, with nothing as conclusion, with so many unanswered remnants. As i watched its last episodes, im like "WTF, its last episode already? its ending already?" its like the beginning of the real storyplot and you ended it already.
You could cover up the whole stories in the last few episodes like Guilty Crown, it wont be long really, or if the manga series still didnt go that far you could made an alternate ending to fill the curiousity, instead you go to high school of the dead plot path where the whole series
just serve us with only early fighting-titan scene and how people depressed from the incident with nothing as solution or history how all happened until the end.

Well for full action-oriented anime in medieval era, nothing more can be expected from the art, its magnificent, truly breathtaking fighting scene that makes you ejaculated and the fact that the enemy is monstrous titan with upper hand from mankind always makes you amazed not to forget that 3d manuver geared badass flying over skies everywhere is so stunning.

Dont wanna tell you, but this is another lack from shingeki. I wonder why i always play Guilty Crown backsound Bios_MK+nZk in my head everytime i see shingeki fighting scene, and i know the reason its because shingeki lacking appropriate backsound and fail to make spectator fully immersed in its scene and sure all op and ed is not..satisfying.

Well to tell you the truth, i love its 3 protagonist, they are not perfect, they have their own weakness, their own strength, and they are filling each other's gap and hole. At the front, Eren have the biggest sense of judgement, have the biggest willpower, while lacking awareness, exploded and unconscious, and of course dont have the top skills, as standard in almost all male protagonist in every shonen anime. At the right, stand kawai shoujo yet deadly Mikasa and..hard to believe but i guess she is the most inhuman of the 3, average sense of judgement and willpower despite having top-notch skills, and i can say she can oppose the entire world and doesnt give a damn thing which is right as long she can be with Eren :D go go ErenMikasa, everyone know you love Eren so much since childhood until now (that scarf is the proof!!) but unfortunately the series doesnt permit another romance scene :(. And at the left, trustworthy Ermin is the best observer, analyzer and strategist despite having low skills and low willpower but gradually growing as series goes on.

With all its weakness and drawback covered with its plus, i enjoyed watching this series so much. Well they said personal enjoyment cant always be related to its objective view.

Well, ill be blunt here, this anime story isnt as childish as i suspected it would be. Let me explain, i think there would be 2 types of spectators that watched this anime, one type is common spectators that can see the childish side of this anime, how childish syndrome is very embarassing, so cursed, so uncool, etc, and the other type is spectators that can see the childish side of chuunibyou and also deep hidden meaning behind it which revealed at last few episodes of the series, chuunibyou is embarassing but as a human we must also have chuunibyou in our mind.
What ... is chuunibyou really? chuunibyou is childish syndrome that usually posessed by all of the kids in the world, whether in elementary school or mid school. Disease that makes them think to have another world beside this real world, they imagine having some superhero power, imagine they can transform to their superhero idol or have some magic power or believe that lies unseen horizon beyond reality.
Well as you can see from the series, its very embarassing disease really, you thought that how idiot you were, anywhere they are, they imagine having superpower and magic and do some funny stuff everyone will laugh about, etc. But did you know that human dream, hope, wish and eagerness are also part of chuunibyou as revealed in last few episodes of the series. Without it, human become static, resigned, only accept whatever fact lies ahead and do nothing with it, become boring and like a robot. Its wrong having chuunibyou to ignore the reality, escape from reality or selfish yourself that shown in the series about female protagonist. But at the same time, we must maintain our dream and hope as human being that is also part of chuunibyou.

A good example is the fact about aerospace invention. Thousand years ago, people never thought that human would be able to fly in the sky, yet observing how birds fly, some human had a dream how human fly in the sky or even outer space started by Leonardo Da Vinci, anyone in that era never believes such things and will laugh or even cursed people that share the idea, called them heretics, son of demons, etc. And now flying with aircraft like a common thing.
There are part of chuunibyou that is embarassing, but some of them are needed. I remember psychology says "think like a child and behave like an adult" because child have so many dreams and full of imagination :D
There is one thing that im dissapointed though, chara depth in this anime is so bad, too focused on main char story and the others just like servant to do things for female protagonist only, it can be seen clearly at last few episodes. Too bad i expect more of other character's story, about their syndrome too.

I enjoyed this anime very much, to the fullest. Really, at first i didnt have the slightest idea that this anime have very deep story, so many humanity value we can take from the story.
And to make it the best, the story is bundled & wrapped with colorful and refreshing world as its background, kawai shoujo and so funny comedy at outer story to cover it nicely so spectators wont get bored.

At first few episodes, story still tells us about the outer story, funny jokes, people insult one another, the weird, ridiculous organization called "shinda sekai sensen" and ridiculous mission episode after episode.
Funny ... comedy everywhere and although i enjoyed it, it will be minus score for me if the story just go this far i wonder to myself, and as i go more into story depth, this anime just keeps me amazed episode after episode.
Its the world called afterlife. Anyone in there are already died, but still have so many regret in their heart, still have unfulfilled wish and dream, but they cant realize it while they live.
They cant rest in peace just yet, they despises their life, they hate had been given such life and they want to fight against the God for being unfair, there is one girl called "tenshi" they always fight and later known
as human also but she just had different view. Finally conclusion started by protagonist surfaced that even we had been given such life, no matter worthless our life is, we can realize it in afterlife world so we can fulfill
our unfinished wish and can rest in peace without any regret and finally "graduate" from afterlife world, thats why afterlife world exist, so we can reborn and given another chance to live happily.
So much humanity value we can take, so much lesson we can take, one sentence cant describe it, if you watch closely you will understand and so many we can quote for our life.

Regret? yeah regret is the most pitiful part in our heart as a human being really. All characters in angel beats have one thing common in their heart and that is regret. Regret of unfulfilled desire, being empty doll and trash in life for a decade and finally found trace of beckoning light after years of wandering and at least want to do something meaningful, but something not going well and they lie dead already or you just cant do anything at all like statue from the birth until back to the earth. Thats it, this anime teaches us in life that we should do what we want in this life, from our heart, get awaken from our useless doll, just awake from your deep slumber all before all had gone from you and left you with nothing and back to your grave so that we can die just like writing in the tomb "Rest in Peace" without any regret...and regret and regret you thought about it.

Art is very good. I like this anime art really, so pleasant to see, so colorful, all chara design well done, never get me bored. And best to cover sad story deep within xD

Sound is good, very good too. So many insert song performance especially by GirlsDemo. All song including OP ED just right describing this anime theme.

Chara art is good as stated. Chara depth good enough even it didnt cover all char cos there are too many. It is focused at protagonist and some char around.

As stated in the story, i enjoyed watching this anime very very very much. So deep story, so nice cover, so many humanity value words cant describe.

This anime have pure original story if im not mistaken, as far as i know, there is no other anime that tells about karuta, so this anime is good. At early, im sure i never imagined that i would had enjoyed this anime so much, at earlier i can only see poor anime art, horrible chara design, but as i keep continue to watch, really its story makeup for all of it, its really nice.
These are the reasons why its story is a top notch:
1. Its not exaggerated ... at all for considered sport anime, not just other out there with godlike shot, tiger shot, ping pong ball, etc
2. Its really very realistic, the protagonist and her team often lose and we can see their progress to get better and overcome their weakness. Hello, this is not anime with godlike char who always win 100% without any defect
3. Its story so detail and tightly packed, no jumping and easy to follow
4. Telling about karuta? this anime is the best, i think im getting to like karuta now after i wathed this anime even im not japanese and know nothing of karuta!!Passion of karuta, meaning of each card, every tech, strategy nicely pictured here
5. So deep character story depth and their relationship

Okay i already knew this anime from long time ago, but i think its a bit of childish anime earlier so i skip it. But after i heard lot of ppl spoke about this anime and most of all after i heard that Kuroyukihime is Kirito and Asuna' daughter and Accel World can be considered sequel to SAO (its airing time is almost at the same time), yes i dont know its some sort of fan prediction its true or not but they say Kuroyukihime is Their Daughter and after have been watched this anime, yes, SAO and Accel World is connected and Accel World ... setting is year 2046, 23 years after SAO which is year 2022, both SAO and Accel World are adapted from LN and i dont know anything about LN. Its really poke my curiosity the most so ill give it a try. Also one of its Studio Producer is a Sunrise, i like Sunrise anime like Gundam Seed, Sookyu no Fafner, etc.

Ehm, i wouldnt comment much here, if i add anything positive im sure anime criticizer will hunt me down xD. Emm there are some flaw point that i can pinpoint from my point of view, all of them are considered fatal -_-

1. I really hate male protagonist here, yes thats right that Arita Haruyuki :/ from what i see he is just bunch of Fatass, Idiot, Clumsy, Coward, Inconsistent, Careless, Fool, Careless, Inattentive, full of nonsense bull of talk, even at point when he showed his positive side in anime when he showed his courage, what i can see is just hes just blabbering bullshit everywhere -_- and talk too much. He is really idiot and u can see almost all of the main conflict in story solely only caused by his own stupidity and he keep repeat and repeat it again, goosh. Usually protagonist in Anime is not someone perfect and have many weakness, but as story goes we can see how he overcome that weakness and grow stronger, but i cant see that in this anime, hes full of weakness and deep scar, but he cant impress me with change he made even he tried so hard as story goes. I cant believe it, even idiot protagonist like naruto cant be this stupid, i dont like naruto, but this guys is the worst >.< and ONE more [SPOILER] I CANT STAND the way his relationship with Kuroyukihime goes, hes like a pet, idiot lackey and Hime is a leader, its scratch the pride of the MAN! [SPOILER]

2. Kuroyukihime, should be the female protagonist here, but i cant see her shining in the story, shes just in the back, the way i see shes just a spectator and commentator, even though she is more reliable than Haruyuki, she is more careful and thoughtful.

3. U guess it, yes there is a big hole in the story, just like SAO. Its a bit different from SAO though, its not overleaping story, Accel World story still tight and not leaping but more to so little to a whole story, yes i can see this anime just cover so little of the whole story, so tiny tiny and so little story thus we cant get grip of the main essence of the story. What we expect is dissapointment, mockery, dissatisfied, anger, and WHat THe??THats ALL this STORY goes??.[SPOILER] And Anime MAKES it WORST by telling us HOW BIG and so many things not yet done in Accel World, story still didnt cover all of the 7 kings, story just stop when they are level 4 or 5, story just stop at few enemies THATS all :( [SPOILER]. I dont know anything and never read LN, but just like SAO i think its common issue for all continuing LN/Manga adapted anime series, in general because LN story not yet finish and Anime schedule so tight and short, they must make one choice of two, its either to cover so little of the story and force ending it makes it force conclusion in the end with last word like "There will be plenty of obstacle we must overcome ahead but we wont give up" or anything like that, or its the worst they make whole new ending that totally different from LN/Manga series that will provoke the spectator the worst xD. But all in all dont make things exaggerated, i already know this issue and understand this long ago, just accept in and find other enjoyment in Anime we watch, there are plenty of way to enjoy this great Anime :)

4. Emm i dont know if any of you will recognize this as much as i do, but its really annoying for me. This anime story is so inconsistent, my logic keep contesting and some of them even makes me laugh and i recognize it at several spot in the anime like "Why they do that, its really simple should be like this..","Hey why is it like that, from the prev eps, its not possible and should be like this", etc. One example [SPOILER] special move gauge need to be recharged before use special move, but i cant see Lime Bell recharging her special gauge to use her special move Citron Call at some scene, and also last conflict they dont want to tell Kuroyukihime but in the end Kuroyukihime forced to help and knew it, DAFUK why didnt u guys tell her from the start -_- [SPOILER]

Art here is the best i can say that, all colors so vivid, scenery even the most complex can be built and the detail so smooth. Especially since this anime takes place setting in ideal future world with so many enhanced technologies. The Chara design here is the best also, all so proportional and cute and moe :3 well maybe its not mature anime taste but i love moe :3

Sound yes yes good and great, no comment here. Backsound great, OP and ED song nice, sound effect clear. And i can sense something here, u guess what?? do u know that Accel World use many FINAL FANTASY 8 backsound in peaceful situation, i know it any my ear wont betray me :D

As stated earlier, chara design is the best here no comment good just good. Character depth involving that 4 main char is also great, all conflict circling involving different tought of that 4 main char so nice and since in this anime tells u so many of heart scar, mental scar, fear, anxiety so its very touching [SPOILER] because ur duel avatar is the manifestation of ur heart or so they say :D [SPOILER]. All supporting chara also good and enough explaining about them.

Enjoyment : 7
Hmm, despite the story so dissapointing, there are many other things that i enjoy. First, even though there is a big hole in the story, if i focus on the story that was covered, this anime picture it very well and also touching for me, conflict is nice and enough bring me enjoyment. Second, what is it? of course its moe moe :3 well even though its not the main features that provided here well at least i enjoy it, the art, i love it very much :D

Well, i know that some of you probably hate this anime, because there are ton of flaws in the story, u cant enjoy much from the story, i know i know but there are also some plus in this anime, we must also see the good point from anime not keeping judge and mock it from its bad point. I already know from the start this anime weakness as much as other continuing LN/Manga adapted anime, so i get past through it and see other aspect to enjoy this anime. Hmm overall score 6, i hope i wont give too much score on this anime. Happy animeing, peace regard and out.

First of all, I expected nothing less from one of the most legendary anime and most popular light novels. Almost all people that know anime also know SAO. Oh yeah, why I was attracted to SAO so much and felt it was because I am an MMORPG gamer as well. I can understand the world of this anime easily and I feel nostalgic, which is also why I found this anime so enjoyable. I already watched SAO before, but too fast and not in full so I rewatched it again slowly to feel the emotion of all the eps.

SAO's story is so great. The story ... is divided into 2 parts, eps 1-14 is Aincrad arc/SAO game part, and eps 15-25 is Alfheim game arc.
For Aincrad arc, its story is told around all events, circumstances, and conflicts that may arise in Death VMMORPG between people or even the gamer with the game itself. If you can image yourself to be a gamer of SAO, you will understand. Aincrad arc story is very straightforward, over rushed, and very compact because it isn't possible to tell all of the details about what happens at each floor in the anime. But still, despite it being over rushed, I found it so enjoyable and it touched my emotions. It really zipped in a wonderful way without removing the beauty of its story.

Emm, I found this was SAO's weakness, and yes that is its graphics. For an anime that was published in this era, SAO's graphics are a bit bad. Well it's not really bad, but it can be improved further, a lot of anime around SAO have decent art and it's a little dissapointing.

Good, its really good. I enjoy all of SAO's OP and ED songs. They depict the anime perfectly. The back sound and sound effects are really good, it's really piercing when a critical moment arises in the anime. No complaints on this one.

As I stated earlier, graphics is SAO's only weakness. Sometimes the chara design was not proportional and it annoyed my eyes. Chara depth was so good, also the important people around Kirito were usually told and wrapped into one episode for us to understand their feelings, we could feel their feelings, their point of view, and their anxiety, it's so good.

Now I don't know what to say anymore. Just look at the number, it's 9. I really really enjoyed this anime very much and I think I wouldn't be bored rewatching it over and over again because this anime is so astounding. Maybe it's because I'm also an MMORPG gamer that I found this anime really attractive and exciting, but I think casual audience will enjoy it also as much as I do without a doubt.

First i know its mangaka, Minazuki Suu from Sora no Otoshimono, and i love its art and chara design. And then i found this manga made by same author so i think i will have a look at this, and i am very surprised!!This is as good and maybe better than Sora no Otoshimono. I am surprised Suu can make heavy touching drama manga like this so good!!

This manga has a very wonderful story, its so touching my heart. It's a very good heavy touching drama manga. Reader will feel whats it's like to be main character and will feel like you are just in ... there. Reader will feel psychological conflict generated by its story, your sense in good and evil, humanity, friendship, and love will be tested. And the best in this manga is twisted fate after twisted fate, so many cruel fate will fall upon its main char and friends, get ready to shed your tears!. There are action, adventure, drama, fantasy, magic & romance mixed so good that i warrant you will be enjoying it. There are comedy and ecchi but by a small amount. Just so you all know that i cried as i read its final volume, so i dont need to explain it again right?

Minazuki Suu is one of few mangaka that i know of that has outstanding skill in its manga art, there is no doubt about his drawing, drawing is so good and just very good!!

Character design is just as good as art, it's very good!. And character depth is very good too!!. Almost all characters in this manga has a wonderful background story and conflict, they are told in a fascinating way that reader will enjoy it as much. Not just main char, every char around main char end even all villain has their reason that you will soon know.

If you love sad and touching story, not just comedy manga that make you laugh hard i think you will love and enjoy this. This manga has a very good heavy story that you need once a while not just laugh after laugh while reading manga.

-Its storyline maybe a little confused, many story loop happen several times and you will need time to understand. But i think its mangaka want to explain it in a different way
-Cruel fate after cruel fate, disaster after disaster will fall to main char, maybe you will get tired of this, but trust me it's worthed!
-In fights, almost of a time main char and his friend always lose! and its villain can kill them at any time they want but they dont want to, they always give them mercy that you will sometimes annoyed reading this, as me too!. This is only weakness i dislike so far.

Pheew as i recently completed watching RV 5 minutes ago let me share what i thought.
O yeah, and i first know RV from manga and here most likely i want to compare it to its manga.

-The Story is sooooo BAD and DISSAPOINTING, if you already read its manga you know why i am saying this. This series can be made to be wonderful series but anime wrapped it up so BAD.

First, Rubi shouldnt be made too strong at her arrival, manga story more REALISTIC. Second, WTF Moka who defeat Kuyou in last episode and not Tsukune just like manga, and no ghoul Tsukune here that ... is the MOST IMPORTANT storyline there, WTF anime just cut them up the very IMPORTANT part of story there, this is what i hate the most from this anime.

-Anime only show the most of ecchi and harem part of this series without wonderful storyline there which is COULD be made but they just dont want to (for me this is cons)
-Art and Chara Design is so-so which could be improved further more, for year 2008 anime this anime art is so fair
-The fighting in here is very generalized and easy to read, much more intense in its manga. But i wont say more because generally RV season 1 is not focused in fighting just like its manga
-Moka transformation is very exaggerated here, please this is not mahou shoujo...

Pros
-I think sound is the best part here because this anime is so full of funny, cheerful, sad, romantic, all kind of sound there. Oh and there are lot of insert song, every char has its own and unique insert song which describe their feeling at many episodes. Musical anime isn't it?maybe...

But all and all i am still very dissapointed, i am a great fan of RV but this anime shocked me. I enjoy read its manga VERY MUCH and i never get bored waiting for its chapter after chapter, but this anime....nope sorry.
