I'm gonna be honest. I watched this anime for the smut scenes, so I wasn't disappointed with the anime, but I got disappointed with my life instead...
-Story-
Awful. It only makes sense if you read the manga. So go read the manga if you want a more comprehensive story. It's still ridiculous tho lol
-Animation-
There are many weird movements but the art is good.
-Sound-
I didn't pay attention to the music but the voice acting for the smut scenes is hot imo. I don't really watch hentai so I can't really say anything about it, but BL CDs are far more better.
...
-Character-
Development what? But what did you expect from a 9 episodes anime with 6 minutes / episode?
-Enjoyment-
I think the sex scenes in this anime would be enjoyable for fujoshi and fudanshi. Still, they're so cringe.
-Overall-
This anime makes me question about my life, the mangaka's life, the animators' life, the VAs' life, and the audience's life.

At first, I decided to read this manga cuz the story seemed foolish. I was bored at that time so I thought why not try reading some ridiculous yaoi lol. I was expecting pwp but well it actually has some plot.
-Art-
Not my favorite but pretty decent and no awkward poses. I consider good proportion in yaoi very important since weird sex poses are a turn off. I'm still wondering how the titan's dong fits the uke's ass tho.
-Story-
The plot is interesting but the execution is pretty bad. Some are convenient plots for the smut scenes.
-Character-
[WARNING: MINOR SPOILER] The main characters are Kouichi (uke) and Caius
...
(seme). Caius is ok imo. He was kinda pushy at first (um he actually "rapes" Kouichi) but other than that, he's a lovable character. He's kind and considerate. On the other hand, Kouichi's character is written badly. I don't believe any straight teenage boy would be okay to be "forced" to become a bride to some male titan in another world. Even if there is a chance, there should be some conflicts in his values. Doesn't he have any pride as a straight guy? I'm not saying being a bottom is a bad thing, but for someone who isn't gay, realistically he wouldn't just accept it. I'm still weirded by this fact through out the series. Tbh I'm kinda creeped out.
-Enjoyment-
Ngl I enjoy this manga so much. Even though the execution is pretty bad, the story flow is still nice. More importantly, the sex scenes are hot lol (well I was expecting a porn when I first read it).
-Overall-
Best BL porn I've ever read I guess lol

My favorite BL of all time! So ofc I gave 10 for this manga. But for the sake of this review, I'm gonna try to be as objective as possible.
-Art-
I won't call it beautiful cuz the drawing is sometime kinda stiff and the coloring is so-so. HOWEVER, for some reason I really enjoy the art. I'm quite picky for the art when it comes to BL, but Idk why I really like the author's drawing. It might cuz I'm a fan of her tho. So it's kinda biased.
-Story-
Tbh the beginning was really ridiculous. The way they started to fall in love wasn't natural at all.
...
They're not even gay to begin with. It's so weird that they just suddenly fell in love cuz they're working together for some time. Well, that's how romance develops in most BL lol. But their relationship after they're getting together was funny and enjoyable to follow. The conflicts they had to deal were just everyday problems between lovers. They're nothing new and special but how the author delivered the story was really nice.
-Character-
I love them! They're the funniest BL couple I've known. They have a bickering love relationship. I also like the characters cuz I'm a sucker for tsundere uke. I'm sorry but I can't be completely objective for this one lol
-Overall-
You may love this manga if:
- you're into BL (I don't think people who don't read BL would enjoy it)
- you like bickering couple
- you like funny and light story
You may like this manga or you may not like it. For me, I reaally love it. I honestly don't really understand why I love it, so I can only conclude that people will love or not love this manga depending on their preference. Try reading it and see for yourself.

I bet people who say this anime is great haven't read the manga. I must admit that indeed this anime isn't bad IF you don't compare it with the manga. I might even give it a 7-8 score if I only watched the anime.
The manga is hundred times better and this anime just ruined it. It ruined their characters, the story, and many things. I won't talk about the art, sound, etc. What I'm gonna talk about is the comparison between the anime and the manga.
Most of the filler episodes are- how do I put it- shallow maybe? (Idk if I use the right word).
...
Some of them are irrational and silly. They are really different than the episodes that follow the actual story.
The manga has some funny small scenes. Those things actually make the characters more interesting. Too bad the anime didn't include them.
WARNING: The following review contains SPOILERS.
[MINOR SPOILER] I really don't understand why they changed the characters and their backgrounds so much. These are the differences:
-Onogida and Michiru aren't in the manga.
-The actual section nine only has dudes. Well, there's Amachi. She joins the section after Aoki.
-Okabe doesn't have a wife in the manga. There’s actually a funny scene where everyone thinks that Okabe has a daughter who almost graduates from college. It turns out he’s only 36 and is still single.
-Aoki can't do lip reading and he doesn't love his sister in the manga. The story about the president is actually something like a spin-off. Thus the characters are different.
-Amachi characters is so annoying in the anime.
-Aoki is also really annoying in the anime.
-Maki's interesting traits don't show in the anime, like how he's feared by his subordinates in a comical way or how pretty and young he looks (fyi he's already in his mid 30s).
-Miyoshi isn't that different but somehow the anime made her look like a secondary character who suddenly makes an appearance just for giving Aoki a love interest when ACTUALLY she's important for Maki and Aoki's character developments.
It feels like the anime just adding more unnecessary characters and plots. All those things make me cringe cuz they're not in the manga and they are overly dramatic, especially the ending. It was so lame.
[HUGE SPOILER, kinda] About episode 20. The anime doesn't describe whom Maki is jealous of. People might think that he's jealous of Aoki for getting together with Miyoshi. The truth is he's jealous of Miyoshi. He's jealous cuz the people he cares for (Suzuki and Aoki) get hooked on Miyoshi.
[HUGE SPOILER] Amachi died in both anime and manga. The difference is the way they animate the arc. In the manga, Aoki regrets the way he treats Amachi when she's still alive. He's kinda rude to her. But in the anime, he regrets that he talks about his father to her and this lead her to falls into a trap. Aoki thinks it's his fault that Amachi died EVEN THO she's the one who asked him about his father. It feels forced and silly smh
[NO SPOILER] Lastly, about the relationship between Maki and Aoki. The manga describes more about them. You can see their bond more clearly!
Actually this is the very reason why I'm disappointed with the anime. The interesting thing about the manga is the relationship between Maki and the people that surround him. I barely see any of those in the anime.
My thought after finishing the anime: I feel like I just watched a fan fiction :/
I actually have more complains but I might as well write an essay lol (I’m pissed at how I write this review more seriously than I’ve ever done my school works).
Tl;dr: JUST READ THE MANGA. You won't understand just by reading my review. Seriously, just read it. BUT if you insist to watch this anime, I recommend you to watch it first before reading the manga so that you can still enjoy it. However if you already read the manga, don't bother watching this. You’ll be disappointed if you expect something like the manga.

I don't usually write review but for this manga I just have to.
This is my favorite manga from the mangaka. The manga that I've read from her were all unique. But this manga has the warmest feelings. Even though the genre is bl, I think someone who just want to read some fluffy cute relationship would really like it.
The story, just as I said, is really unique. The settings is in Germany. It's about painting that come alive at night. The way the mangaka draw the story is really good. Even though there are only 4 chapters, it doesn't feel rushed.
As for the art, it's
...
really beautiful, especially the water color style. It gives the warm feelings to the story.
The characters are good. They don't have like really unique character but they develop nicely.
Overall, I really enjoyed this manga. I'd like to reread it sometime.
