Aikatsu!

Both are cute series aimed at girls. Both have female leads, Ichigo in Aikatsu and Hikari in Hikari, who try to develop their skills in their chosen fields. For Aikatsu, that field is being an idol, and for Hikari, that field is rhythmic gymnastics. Ichigo and Hikari are shown to fail several times, or make mistakes, but they continue trying to improve regardless. Both series also have their own rival character that helps drive the protagonist forwards to improve. For Aikatsu, that rival is Mizuki, and for Hikari, the rival is Hazuki. Both series even feature subplots about male characters who are involved in their own bands.

Zettai Bouei Leviathan

Both series have almost all-female casts (at least, all the main characters are female), and feature magical girls trying to defeat a mysterious enemy. Leviathan is more light-hearted, with more fanservice, and takes place in a fantasy medieval-ish setting, though.

Versailles no Bara

Both are reasonably serious shows with a focus on political intrigue, back-stabbing nobles and how cruel people can be. But Berserk is set in a fantasy universe with demons and monsters, with a lot of battles, whilst RoV is a historical anime that takes place in France, documenting the beginnings of the French Revolution. Also, Griffith looks awfully similar to Lady Oscar (all that long, fluffy hair...)

Both shows feature a large, all-female cast of main characters that fight the bad guys to save the day! Both are also pretty dramatic (sometimes a little over the top, and not very subtle), and both have some very nice character designs and smooth animation.
