To start this off, how to survive a romance fantasy doesn’t contain much romance in it, so if you are expecting a heavy romance plot then this is not for you. I think this is one of the reasons why people get disappointed. The author did address this at the end of the manhwa in the author’s note and I think it could have been a better idea to state this at the beginning of the manhwa instead.

In addition to the fact that this manhwa takes the reincarnation genre and creates a new type of story with it, I believe this is what a comedy ... manhwa should be like. Tbh I can't tell if this manhwa is super funny or if my humor is just broken (my humor is def broken) ,but I found it hilarious. Yes, ik the fried chicken joke was used excessively and maybe too much but I laughed at every single fried chicken joke.

The art is pretty decent, not special in any way but it was nice.

Ik many people think the ending was rushed and incomplete, but in my opinion, it was pretty fine for this story. I could see, however, why some people would have wanted it to be longer and for the author to discuss other aspects of the story. The author did say that they were satisfied with the ending and the length of the manhwa though. The ending was (in a way or another) an open ending, so if you are not a fan of open endings this isn't for you either.

At times i did feel lost and felt like I don’t understand what is going on exactly, but i do think its very likely to be a translation error, plus it didn’t really affect the story.

Overall i would say give this manhwa a shot if u want sth short with less romance and more comedy.

This manhwa hands down is one of (if not) the best adult idol/actor manhwa.

Daytime Star didn’t contain any unnecessary drama, and instead focused on the evolution of the main characters’ relationship. (The only drama in the manhwa was involving her ex-bf, which was very minor and collectively wasn’t more than 5 chapters).
The hardships both the ML and FL faced were realistic, and were all resolved throughout the manhwa, fitting its perfect length and ensuring it doesn't feel rushed.

Its very nice to be able to see a ML who is a green flag occasionally, as lately most MLs are toxic and very pushy towards the relationship. ... Kang respected Yura without forcing himself on her, something which happens in many famous manhwas and passes by unnoticed or marked as “hot”.
Yura on the other hand wasn't an annoying, pick me FL and didn't immediately and unrealistically agree to start dating Kang (i would have though because i am unrealistic)

The art is super gorgeous and the side characters are lovely.

Im a fan of short manhwas but honestly (and i dont say this often), i think this one should have been longer.
There were so many aspects of the story that were not discussed even though they should have. The plot isn’t bad (even though it was confusing and not understandable at times) ,but the real problem was how the story was executed. It really wasnt good, plus the art was meh so it didn’t really help.
I wanted to know about the characters and their backgrounds much more in depth. It truly felt very very rushed and the romance progressed too fast that it didn’t make ... sense.
I thought i would like it but i was disappointed.
