Main characters are both sad losers to some extent. Though Hikigaya is just unmotivated cynic, Tomoko has somewhat warped picture of (high school) life. Oregairu has romance tag to it, but it doesn't really have much romance in it, though definitely more than WataMote, which is basically just a comedy.

Both main characters are trapped in a video game world, which changed when the option to log out disappeared. In Overlord the goal seems to be rather taking control of the world, when in Sword Art Online the goal is to escape the game. The starting setting are different, in Sword Art Online the main starts from the bottom and earns his power, when in Overlord the main already has everything, he just needs to adapt to everything new.

Main characters are really similar. The mermen are basically the same, by looks and character. They both live in a bathtub in the house of a black haired high school boy. Kono Danshi series have unique style, and they're officially shounen ai, but Orenchi no Furo Jijou also has a shounen ai feeling to it, despite not being of the genre. Orenchi no Furo Jijou has more more characters and more happenings.

They both have a pure love story. The main characters are somewhat scary on the outside but have a really pure heart, and they also value their friends a lot. Both shows are really cute and funny at times.

Both have youngsters trying to make a change in the world. Zankyou no Terror sets in the world now, but No.6 is set in futuristic world and has sci-fi elements. They're both tragic, and they include a chase where the main characters are being targeted.

They're both really calm and lovely shows. Hotarubi no Mori e is a movie, while Natsume Yuujinchou has four seasons. They both follow a human who sees spirits and occasionally hangs out with them.

The biggest similarity is the unique style and the feel of the show. The plot in both is weirdly revealed. Characters also have some similarities. They're both just really bizarre in the same way.

Gives off the same vibe. Where No Game No Life is about games, Shokugeki no Souma is about food. Main characters (Sora & Souma) are similar, they share the voice actor too. Both are good at one thing and are thrown into a place where it's all about that thing. Both are confident on their skills and are aiming to the top.

Both have this love-hate relationship thing going on. And they're both really funny.

There are so much similar elements in these series. Both have a main who is a white haired fox boy. They both have this 'gods and yokai in modern world but in a world of their own' setting. Both are funny and really enjoyable. If you enjoyed one, there is no way you wouldn't enjoy the other one too.
