Just a disclaimer. I am absolutely obsessed with the MT series and this review is very obviously biased. But then, what review isn't?

Alright so I just watched this and I don't think I have ever squealed with delight as much as I have watching this OVA. Heavy spoilers ahead, needless to say.

Story 8/10

The story was simple nothing to complex. Its just one of Eris' side adventures that wasn't animated along with the main storyline since it would've affected the mood. Simple doesn't mean "not good" and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It introduces a couple of new characters that will be very important down the line ... and for me they were all done absolutely right.

Art 10/10

The art was outstanding as usual. The perfection that we have come to expect from Studio Bind. Nothing like Demon Slayer Season 2 but an art style that perfectly fits the MT universe. Besides the action scenes were just an absolute feast for the eyes.


Sound 10/10

Both the OP and ED are the same ones from Part 2. Regardless I got chills from the OP regardless and the soundtrack was also the same. I dont really have a lot to say apart from the fact that I enjoyed it.

Character 10/10 not even a question

The characters are what make Mushoku Tensei and that stays true for this 20 minute episode. The sheer delight on Eris' face as she explored the city, Cliff's arrogance that was perfectly captured and Ruijerd following Eris juuuust to make sure. Everything was perfect.

Enjoyment 10/10

If its not quite obvious yet I am insanely obsessed with Mushoku Tensei. For me it is just the perfect blend of characters, visuals, story and fantasy. As someone who has read the LNs I obviously see it with rose coloured glasses but knowing that doesn't dampen my enjoyment in the slightest. The VAs are objectively amazing as is the art and sound.

If you liked the main series DO NOT skip this OVA because who wouldn't like more Mushoku Tensei. Or fans of the series at least.

Taishou Otome Otogibanashi is my first ever seasonal anime for which I had no prior knowledge before starting. This is the anime through which I learned how truly agonizing waiting a week for an episode is. With that out of the way lets review this.

The story of this anime isn't groundbreaking. Its about the son of a rich family who loses the use of his right hand in an accident and is discarded from the family for being useless. To help him his father sends a girl to the home he was banished to, to help him.

The art is very good and a pleasure to ... look at. It doesn't have eye orgasming art like anything KyoAni might make but, in my opinion, the simple art style suits it better. Plus the blushes and when the characters become chibi are just cute af.

Sound isn't something I often pay attention to. The proper background music was used and a few pieces just set the mood pretty well. The opening however is one of my favourites so far. I didn't skip it in a single episode!

Now the characters. The truly amazing part of this anime and the reason you should be watching it. The main lead Tamahiko is a depressed edgy boy. Our female lead is an energy filled ball of sunshine. It is a typical grumpy/sunshine trope for those familiar with romance.

The reason I say why the characters are amazing is because there is character development in each and every episode and you can very clearly see each and every character blooming ever so slightly with each interaction. The most growth is shown by the MC Tamahiko and I can honestly say he is one the best romance MCs I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

Moreover none of the characters are overly oblivious and know what a certain reaction means. One particular scene that stuck out for me was when Yuzu, our female lead shows off a new dress to Tamahiko and he blushes and says it looks ok. Yuzu, on the other hand, knows immediately he is just shy and responds appropriately hehe. That scene gave me a lot of serotonin.

My enjoyment was a 10 without question. There wasn't a single moment I felt bored and the character interactions made me feel all sorts of emotions. For my first weekly based experience it was absolutely a joy.

In the end I gave it a 10. I would've loved to see a marriage and kids of course but still what we had in the end was a happy ending that was deserved and for me that deserves a 10!

If you are looking for an anime to reset or chill out or relax this is the perfect one. There is drama but nothing that stops your heart. Hehe. DO give it a watch!

I have seen lots of negative reviews for Kimetsu no Yaiba. Even my own friends who read the manga and completed it didn't like the ending. I, however, have very different opinions.

Kimetsu no Yaiba was probably the first proper shonen manga I read, with all the clichés and whatnot. However I have been reading books since I could actually read so I have a lot of experience with stories. Does that translate to experience with mangas? Of course not. But I would like to think I have at least some authority here.

The main reason I loved Demon Slayer was quite simply due to ... what it made me feel. I always judge any form of story based on what it made me *feel*. And needless to say Demon Slayer made me feel a *lot* of things.

What in particular made me write this review is the amazing movie by Ufotable. The thing is after that movie I reread the whole manga. And.. for some reason I found absolutely nothing wrong with it apart from nitpicks. The story flowed smoothly, the hero developed naturally and most of all, the fights were just the absolute best.

Two in particular I want to talk about are the Daki and Gyutaro vs, Tanjiro, Uzui, Inouske and Zenitsu AND in the final arc the battle between Akaza and Tomioka and Tanjiro.

For the first battle what stood out just how much our main protagonist improved. Since I was rereading I realised just how much improvement there was from all the characters. In particular Tanjiro using Hinokami Kagura. That battle was just pure amazing for me.

Second of all in the Tomioka and Tanjiro vs. Akaza battle; the backstory of Akaza. What this manga is unrecognized for, or even looked down upon are its absolutely stellar backstories. Each and every single one of the main and primary supporting characters have such profound and detailed backstories that just make you fall in love with them all. Yes even the villains.

With Kimetsu no Yaiba there were multiple scenes where I felt actual chills down my back. Not even watching the anime but reading the freaking manga.

If there is one thing I might dislike or annoyed by was the forced humour. While some scenes were hilarious others just made me want to skip them or cringe. However they were few and far in between and the other amazing bits made me completely forget about it.

The only true flaw of this manga I would say is that too much story is packed into the final 5 or so volumes. An insane amount of backstory and fight scenes. It was way too concentrated in my opinion and would've benefited from being spread out a little but I digress.

In the end I have read the whole Demon Slayer manga twice and the after the Mugen Train Arc once more. Not once did I feel like I was reading a subpar or boring story. Despite knowing what happens ahead I only got more excited. Objectively looking, it is far from perfect. But it just made me feel *so* much happiness, excitement and joy. Perhaps anime and manga veterans may not like it. That's perfectly fine. But for me Demon Slayer is for all intents and purposes: perfect.

Ok this is my first ever manga review but after reading this I feel like I had to give it a review!

Story: 9/10
The story is pretty simple, nothing all that complex and very easy to understand. It follows the lives of Aharen and Raidou two high school kids who sit next to each other and became unlikely friends.

At the start at least.

As the story goes on there is a hidden element of subtle character development which you don't really realize until you go back to the earlier chapters. The relationship between our two main characters was very realistically developed and naturally as well. All in ... all the story grows in complexity with every chapter as all good stories do but at the same time, is really fun and enjoyable to read as well

Art: 7/10
Art is also simple but really amazing to look at. The story and art style complement each other really well. I particularly like the way blushes are drawn. Just a very cute art style.

Characters: 10/10

Here is the main reason that I'm writing a review. Early in the manga the character interactions were only between our two main leads. Those were very fun to read and just hilarious. However as the manga went on there seemed to be a surprising amount of depth added to the characters.

As more characters were added on the hilarious situations only improved and it gets you weirdly invested in the story.

Enjoyment: 10/10

This is just an absolute 10 without even thinking. For me at least. The chemistry between two stoic characters who speak very little and show their feelings through their actions is just pure gold. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times while reading. If nothing you could read the series just for the jokes!

Overall: 9/10

This is an amazing series to read if you are looking for something light hearted and fun. Definitely don't come expecting some really deep stories but a fun light read.

I enjoyed the story insanely and will hopefully continue to do so as more volumes are released!

So The Promised Neverland was my very first anime not counting Bey Blade from when I was a kid.

To say I enjoyed it would be an understatement. It was unexpectedly brutal and horrifying. Now in most forms of entertainment it feels like cheap shock value but something was done so right in this anime. The secrets were revealed slowly, twists were completely unexpected and we were shown just enough to make us understand everything while keeping us on edge for what happens next.

The characters were my absolute favourite. I loved all three of the main protagonists and Ray's curious past. I also loved how the ... main antagonist wasn't a black/white character.

The only thing I didn't like would be the fact that we ended on a cliffhanger. Which is kind of unfair to the anime and not really a bad thing for those who enjoy cliffhangers but it detracted the tiniest bit for me. If it weren't a cliffhanger would've been a 10.

Since I am relatively new I can't say a lot about the art and sound other than the fact that I really enjoyed them. I still hum the opening theme sometimes!

All in all it was a great anime and definitely one I would recommend!
