This series is phenominal. Outlaw Star takes us back to our roots and reminds us of why we loved anime to begin with. It is one of my absolute favorites.

The 90's was my favorite decade for anime. Many classics came out in that ten year period. Outlaw Star is one of those classics. One thing it has that many other series dont is originality. Outlaw Star is unique among its
sci-fi, space adventure counterparts in that its not centered around mechs.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good mecha.

Another thing great about Outlaw Star is it doesnt bombard you with plot. Drama, ... action and comedy are intricately interwoven to give you the optimum anime viewing experience.

Also, and I remind you this is the 90's, the animation is wonderful. Every scene is animated to its highest potential.

A hint to those who watched the series on Toonami: One episode was not aired due to content. Make sure to see it. Trust me.

Frightening, gruesome, startling and at the same time passonate, heart-felt and generally thoght provoking. A story about growing up in a harsh environment, while still hanging on to one's beliefs. Rarely does a manga contain such power as to make the reader feel so many emotions in a single volume. Battle Royale is one of those rare manga.

Powerful. Absolutely powerful. No anime has come closer to bringing me to tears.

There is honestly nothing bad about this anime. Story, art, sound and character are practically palpable in Now and Then, Here and There. THE best thirteen episode series I've seen.

Like most acclamed anime series, The story and characters are engulfed in tragedy. Don't be suprised if you find yourself tearing up a couple of times during this beautifully written, sci-fi epic.

If you can handle tragedies, Now and Then, Here and There is highly recommended. If you don't own it, borrow it. If you cant borrow it, own it!

My first question after I finished this anime was,"Why isnt this anime longer?" The manga stretches on for over 40 volumes and they only went up to volume five.

All that aside, this anime is first rate. Yuzo Takada Sensei claims this series to be his masterpiece. Those of you eager enough to watch this anime, but can't stand bad animation, I beg of you, power through the first 4 episodes. The real treat is the second part. Quailty animation awaits. More than that is the story. 3x3 Eyes has one of the best plots in any anime. Also, the character development is beyond words. The ... hero, Yakumo, changes dramatically to the point of wondering if this is really the same person. In the good way of course.

Overall I gave it a 9. I don't give 9s, they are earned.

Yu Yu Hakusho is without a doubt THE best fighting anime there is out there! It not only has awesome fight sequences, but also heart. The characters are well rounded and able to overcome anything.
