It's a bad movie based on a good fighting game, the story just like most fighting games is generic and predictable, deviating significantly from the game's story, suffering further from very inconsistent pacing. Like most fighting game films, there's not nearly enough time to give every character something interesting to do, and by the time it's over, you'll likely find your self disappointed that your favorite played a minor role in the story if even that. Hell, I'm pretty sure Ukyo Tachibana doesn't even show up anywhere but in the credits. All the time spent on building up Haohmaru's character could have

Watched as battle skipper the movie, dubbed, US Manga Corps. VHS: It cut toy commercials in between episodes for the battle skipper toy line. I know it was also released in individual volumes, but I don't have those.
I fail to see the point of an OVA that advertises children's toys to teenagers. I guess with a $100 price tag I wouldn't expect many kids to have the money for the product, so maybe it was meant to be targeted at teens. Honestly I'm not sure, I don't know much about what teenagers would have been into back in mid 90s Japan. ...

This ED is worse than the show it's featured in, and that's a huge feat. The music is fine, but the dancing animation is hilariously bad, the default looking lens flares and other added on effects are far from impressive, and what's up with staying in the same bland environment. These effects can't even distract form the poor quality of everything else. I know this idol is a fabrication, but you would think the creative team behind it would be upset about this garbage and insist on a do over, is there no interest in selling a product here.
