I loved this series!
Now let me explain, I'm a fiend for love stories, but something about this anime literally caused by heart to wrench, especially towards the end of every episode.
Though the initial plot seems a bit cliche the character dynamics becomes increasingly intricate and will draw you in. The anime revolves around one central relationship but on-the-low follows about 4 others as they, for the most part, follow the usual story-line (happiness, trouble, happiness). This anime became significant to me after I came to the realization that every episode provided an interesting plot twist and left you dying for more.
Now for ... specifics. This anime gives of a Fruit Baskets type vibe, if you've watched it, and adds to the sentimental feeling you're left with.
I loved that the personalities of each character they are unique in their own sense while also being realistic. that realistic effect helps make the anime feel that much more personal.
The creator did a great job in making sure that there were enough distractions to lengthen the series into 13 amazing episodes but leaves you feeling full by tying up all the loose ends by the end of the series. if you like love stories, you HAVE to add that to your "to watch list".

If you have not seen this series, you just simply need to go to your search engine and FIND YOU SOME ANO HANA!

I loved this anime because I felt as though the emotions that each character felt were genuine and realistic. Im a person that loves to watch realistic anime, which means i like to see clean sharp and bright graphics, which is exactly what this anime provides. Another reason this show is a must watch is because it will leave you on the edge the entirety of the series and quite frankly it is misleading, but in the best of ways. The fact that ... it is misleading allows for that final surprise to be even more astounding and heart wrenching . The ability to change the emotional status of a teenage boy is quite a feat.

If you are watching this series now, then you are in good shape! its far better than having to be like me and wait AN ENTIRE week for the next english subbed to release. If you can't tell, then I'll come right out and say it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS ANIME!

Again, me and these trivial love stories always have the power to take over my life.

You don't need to love Shakespeare's works of literature to enjoy this anime, though I must say, if you can pinpoint or predict certain parts in the plot as i could it does wonders for your ego.

The ... anime styling is very sharp! quite amazing. The music of choice is halfway between classical and pop I would say and for the most part with a higher pitch to add to the suspense. if you cant read a clock then maybe this show is not for you (kidding, you'll understand when you watch the series.) knowledge of the grandfather clock effect will help. One thing that i must share, however, is that im sure that after you watch this series you will feel as though this series expresses and portrays a more realistic and relatable love/ relationship.

First of all let me explain the conditions I was under when I watched this movie.
-It was 1:51 AM
-I was a bit tired
-I had super high expectations.

I loved ao no exorcist. I would even go as far as to say that every night I would pray for there to be some sort of second season. This anime was, as expected nothing short of interesting, but did not meet my expectations.

Let me explain, I will try my hardest not to spoil anything, some characters were very ambiguous! as opposed to the series. I know that they don't necessarily have to agree, but that ... completely threw me off.

Next, I would be completely insane not to mention the fact that the ending was VERY expedited. I will use an analogy, I challenge you to understand it. imagine if Ichigo from Bleach spent spent half of a season only using his shikai abilities, then in the last 5 minutes of the last episode of the season he uses his bankai...
WATCH THE MOVIE AND SEE IF YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN

by no means am I saying its not great. I gave it an 8, it is awesome.
I believe, however, that the mindsets differ from movie to series. just be prepared for that.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom is an absolute must see!
If you're like me and like more defined graphics and a plot with suspenseful and intense twists then this is the show for you.
The opening is a bit quirky but the love story behind it all is...as it is through the series.... transformative.

The series also takes hints from western pop culture. Ideas that I dare not risk spoiling might come off as a bit comical.

Though I give this anime a great rating, I would say be prepared to be on an emotional roller-coaster. especially so to the weak-hearted like myself.

All in all i would ... say that this series is definitely worth the watch if you have the time.
