Shoushimin Series

These two series both have to do with a duo solving mysteries. On a positive note however, Kamonoshashi Ron deals with not easily solved common sense cases unlike Shoushimin Series wasting an entire episode just to find out a guy put an entire carton of milk in the microwave. If you enjoy solving mysteries, these two series are nice mystery-solving shows.

Kiznaiver

Kiznaiver and Penguindrum give their audience a similar "alternative-worldly" experience, and they both include teens/young adults trying to understand why they feel a strange emotion and wanting to save what they love. With Kiznaiver, the plot surrounds Katsuhira and his seven comrades, whereas in Penguindrum there are the twin brothers Kanba and Shouma and their little sister. Additionally, there are plushies/people in costumes as background characters, and no one questions why they are running around. The vibes feel very alike, but Kiznaiver is slightly less dark. I would recommend if you enjoyed the series and would like to feel the odd sensation again.

Hunter x Hunter (2011)

It's not as super "fighting and blood-spraying." I'd say it's more of the funny, has a group of grown to love friends like Gon, Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio. The main character Yuri reminds me similar to Gon, however, he's more serious and actually knows what the heck he's doing. Then, there's a character named Wolfram who actually sounds like Killua (though different voice actors) and is cute tsundere and is really cute like Killua. He's more willing to express the bashful things though. It's a long journey like Hunter x Hunter but each episode is fun to watch and can be an emotional roller coaster, but low-key this is one of the best shows I've seen that can be compared as really enjoyable and as fun as watching HxH and Inuyasha.

Mitsuki and Nino both try to reach the person whom they love through singing and are encouraged by a childhood friend to do their best. The music is really great in both and the storylines are very lovable.

Both of the series are written by the same author and have to do with the main character changing their appearance to fulfill what they wish to accomplish. Idol Dreams may be more suitable for the older audience, but overall, Full Moon and Idol Dreams are very cute and good reads.
