Toradora!

They're splitting images of each other, if you look a little deeper. An ultra-tsun (both are done by the same voice actor) is stuck with a unwilling teenage boy (through differing circumstances and come to care for each other (eventually) Zero no Tsukaima leans on ecchi. unlike Toradora!, but the general ideas remain the same

Highschool of the Dead

They're both kind of Westernized, which isn't necessarily a bad thing in this case. Zombie movies/TV series have always been a really American thing imo, with series such as The Walking Dead, Zombieland, and the like, and Highschool of the Dead takes that and puts the signature anime spin on it, with healthy doses of matrix boobs, ecchi, and high school students Black Lagoon also draws influence from Western action movies, with a lot of gunfights, explosions, and generally badassery, and that's probably why the dub is better to me. It just seems to fit better. Highschool of the Dead is definitely more gory, with it being a zombie anime, and Black Lagoon is more focused on the action, but they go together hand in hand

Gamers!
add

One is about a band, one is about a group of gamers, and neither of them do much playing. One is pure moe, the other is a romcom to the core, and neither of them do much plot progression. They're genuinely enjoyable to watch, regardless of if the initial concept is pretty misleading on how the rest of the anime will go.

Tasogare Otome x Amnesia

It's a good romance that's actually technically necrophilia, but we don't talk about that. Tasogare Otome x Amnesia was one of the first anime I've really had to binge watch because I was enveloped in the story, and while it turns darker than Sankarea further on, they're still both enjoyable romances that are technically necrophilia

Nisekoi

Haganai is a series near and dear to me for no particular reason, and Nisekoi is the closest to it I could think of. They both go along with the harem/harem-esque genre, but in Haganai the Generic Dense Harem Anime Protagonist™ isn't actually a Generic Dense Harem Anime Protagonist™. Talk about originality, amirite It actually leans towards slice of life too, and has a healthy portion of lolis. 10/10

Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

They don't seem too similar at first glance, with Re:Zero being a action/fantasy with dark themes and Higurashi being a classic horror series in the otaku community, but they are. Both are in time loops, except while in Higurashi Keiichi is unaware of it, Subaru from Re:Zero is. They both deal with dark, sometimes gory themes, included but not limited to; torture, insanity, watching friends die, and more, but it takes more of a forefront in Higurashi, with it being more strictly related to horror. Not enough yandere in Re:Zero though. Shame.

Plastic Memories

Do you like to cry, but you're not hardcore enough for Clannad? Here you go. Angel Beats! starts out pretty calmly, but starts to escalate pretty quick around mid-series until the end of it. Plastic Memories kicks you in the feels hard starting on the first episode, which is pretty commendable, but isn't a constant tear jerker, and turns into more of a romance as it goes on, albeit a depressing one (I also really like the concept behind this one and the way it's executed.

Eromanga-sensei

The same author wrote both of these, for one. Eromanga-sensei is a lot like Oreimo, but toned down a good bit, for those people who aren't absolute siscon filth like myself (in anime or anime related forms, I'm not gonna take the incest route IRL) Think of Eromanga-sensei as the softcore version of Oreimo.
